I brought in an antique lamp that had become wobbly with age. He found a part to stabilize it and made it look like it had always been that way! Very affordable price as well.

I had just purchased a used lighting fixture that I loved at an architectural salvage company. Only problem was, it was missing one decorative ball nut in an oil-rubbed bronze finish. Later the same day I literally stumbled on Nook N Cranny. I thought it was just an antique shop but I discovered that they specialize in antique electrical parts. A clerk (who turned out to be one of the owners) asked what I was looking for and proceeded to empty out an entire box full of dozens of ball nuts. Together we hunted for The One that would fit and match-- and found it. Then he wouldn't take any payment for it! I couldn't have been more thrilled with the experience and I will definitely return when I need other vintage home accessories.

A situation where easily everyone could have been treated with dignity and respect. Clerk was very rude. Customer service was seriously lacking. My husband was out of town and I needed help picking something we needed for the house so had to FaceTime him so he could help me pick the right part. The store was empty when I first got there. The owner immediately looked annoyed. And in front of other customers, who came after, he told me to turn the phone off that I was “being annoying”.I totally understand his point. You would think, though, that a business owner would have better treatment and words for his customer. Especially considering this was the very FIRST TIME he asked me. It’s as simple as “ma’am, can you please trim phone off, it’s disruptive?” Very disappointed! I IMMEDIATELY said “I’m sorry” and got off phone but didn’t appreciate his tone, he made no effort to soften it. What made the situation a bit better was a second clerk that identified the situation. He tried to best to make it better.

My boyfriend Thomas used to work there I think he still does. I've only been there once but they had some really cool stuff when I went. I like little stores like that they have everything that you just might find that you can't find anywhere else. Thank you for fueling my weird little curious mind five stars for five times the weird LOL

One of the better antique stores around!This is a great place to find salvaged doors, windows, and all other historical well made household items. They also have electronics and vinyl records here. If you appreciate antiques then this is for you.
