MedWish is excellent with what they provide in helping others with medical needs. I have volunteered there and enjoyed my time with them. I have also been able to assist others with getting durable medical equipment from MedWish, and they are able to provide items and helpful to others needs.

MedWish’s mission combines two of my passions, medicine (my professional field) and recycling, to save unnecessary waste and provide needed medical supplies where it’s needed, around the world. I’d volunteer every day of the week if I could, this is such an important endeavor ❤️

If you never heard of MedWish International, check it out. Great place to volunteer for many reasons!! Think out of the box….. local, national, international, global. Think landfills everywhere with usable medical supplies (not just bandages but catheters, diabetic needs, walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, bed frames, mattresses.. etc.) from individuals, groups, medical centers and hospitals. .. still usable in places lacking. Think rural, underdeveloped areas, economically challenged communities etc. Now put these supplies in the hands of the people in those places. Often what cannot be used for people can be used in veterinary care. This is so big…. It’s a huge project that effects so many and needs so many to help AND saves the environment.
