Lack of communication and delay of repairs but the quality was great

This company doesn't deserve 1 star - They are terrible. The owners steal from people and don't repair cars properly.
I brought my daughters car in January 16th to get some damage repaired. After numerous delay for "parts shortages" (which other body shops confirmed as untrue) we got the car back on March 13th. There were various, poor excuses given, but in general this shop seems terribly unorganized and I felt that our car was not a priority at all. The workmanship when we got the car back was poor at best.
The really troubling part of my experience was that when I picked up the car the TPMS sensor was on as well as a "Headlight Fault" light, neither of which were on prior to picking up the car. They never told me they were on, just that the car was ready for pickup. Before I even left the parking lot I went back inside and told them about the problem - they said "yep audi has to clear the fault and the TPMS sensor will go off in a few days by itself, go ahead and take it to them" I will have this documented and will upload at picture as proof for anyone reading this.
After several days of driving the car the TPMS Sensor didn't go off so we took it to a friends shop to try to save Longstreet some money. Upon running the diagnostic tool we were informed there was a missing sensor in the trunk and the BRAKE LIGHTS were non-functional. Which Longstreet never reinstalled when fixing the car. The first shop shop did reprogram the TPMS sensor, which was installed and functional.
After learning this we took the car to Audi and informed longstreet that they were diagnosing the issue - Again I will upload a picture as proof. I notified Longstreet that Audi would be diagnosing the issue further and ordering the part and they said "ok"
After Audi got the car fixed I called the shop to figure out who was going to pay for the part that Longstreet failed to reinstall. I spoke to the owner Joe, who immediately became belligerent, almost crazy. It was as if I was talking to a 9 year old child on the phone. He immediately said there were no issues with the car when it left and the only light that was on was the TPMS sensor because we didn’t have one on the car when it came it. Which was an outright lie. Based on my interactions with Joe alone I would say Longstreet is a terrible place to take your vehicle, they are dishonest and incompetent.
At the end of the Day I send Longstreet written demand for payment for the 500.00 dollars sensor repair that kept the brake lights from working and 175.00 TPMS programming. They not only failed to respond at all, but also never paid me. Consequently, I've been forced to hire an attorney. The shop must be in real trouble if they can't fix a car properly or cover a 675.00 dollar bill. Pretty scummy.
Any shop that will send a car back on the road with non-working brake lights should be sanctioned. And I'd ask anybody reading this if you'd be ok if this shop put one of your family members in danger by not fixing a car properly. If you wouldn't be ok with what they did, don't go there.

They are awesome repair people and are absolutely a place I will always return to in order to get work done on the car, especially body work. I can't speak to the mechanical aspect of their shop since I've mainly gotten my vehicle's bodywork fixed. I would DEFINITELY go to them for everything, however, if they were closer to my home location in Mentor on the Lake. Their location relative to mine doesn't have any bearing on the quality of work. They came HIGHLY recommended by a few of my Uber customers and a personal friend, and I can see why! They also have connections to O'Brien leasing on Mayfield road, so if you want more vehicle options for a rental, but don't have quite the cash to spend at a place like Enterprise, that's definitely an option. If you would need a rental to cover you while the shop is working on your car, they will set up pickup or drop off right there so you don't have to worry about anything. It may be possible to do both there, but you'd need to go to O'Brien at some point in order to give them your credit card info for payment. Regardless, they are THE place to go!Oh! They also detail the inside of your car after they are done working on it and I lost a 20 in my car around Christmas, and they found it, leaving it in the cup holder. They could have easily yoink'd it, and I would have never known, but they didn't. Shows me they care and are upstanding and trustworthy people! They definitely deserve your business.Attached photos are the before and after.

Had my car repaired at Long Street, and they did the repair fine. However, I had a wheel that needed to be replaced and they called me to pick up my car there was a dent on the wheel. I told them and he said he would order a replacement. I had to wait five months and they didn’t call me. Finally I called and ordered the wheel myself and gave them the information. And it still took another 3 weeks. I called again and they told me that they had the wheel in, but no one called me. Finally I was able to bring my car back to have the wheel replaced and they told me that they couldn’t do it and I to take it to another place to get it fixed. And they wanted me to bring back the old wheel! Really!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will never forget or recommend this bootleg business!!!!!!!

I came in and spoke to the owner he actually allowed me to go back there and ask the painter a few questions to ease my mind. The guy knew his stuff.

Brought my Subaru in for Insurance covered repairs on a Monday morning and it was done and ready for pickup on Tuesday afternoon! Wasn't major damage, but was very surprised how quickly they got it done. Kevin was great - friendly and easy to work with. They even washed the car and cleaned the interior. Hope I don't need them again, but if I do this will be the place.Services: Painting
