Although not there fault, never got a car. I came here on a work trip and my office didn't set everything up very well. They set it up through price line and didnt read the fine print, I don't carry Credit cards and I rarely keep a balance higher then a few 100 on my bank card, (safty reasons).
That being said the first person I spoke to was rude. Considering where you work and the people you deal with have been sitting cramped for hours, and gen in a not so good mood themselves. I'd think you would have better customer service. The lady at the desk said I'd have to go to the gold members when I asked for my ID back and clarification where I'm supposed to got. She shoved the I'd back at me and talked to me like I was a child, saying. Your just going to have to hold on sir basically spiting in my face as she did so. Admittedly I was in the best moods myself but I was able to remain professional even though I was now going to be stuck in a BS crime ridden area without a ride in the middle of the night.
Also not so sure how a credit card is better then a debit card. You do realize to can have less then 500 in credit on a card. If they eff up your car your screwed. Not sir why you have to do a credit check with a debit car if I can easily show you I have enough money to buy the vehicle 4 times over.

I don’t normally post bad reviews, but this experience was frustrating. I had rented a car for my trip back to my hometown for four days through Orbitz. I paid $101, and on my receipt it said “due at pickup, the total price includes all taxes and mandatory fees.” When I got to the front desk, I was told I owed a deposit of $270. $500 if I wanted to use my Debit card. And when I mentioned what my receipt said I was basically told “well read the fine print.” There was nothing else stated on my receipt about there being any further hidden fees. The “includes all taxes and mandatory fees” is extremely misleading. I was almost stranded there, thankfully I was able to get a friend to drive up from almost two hours away to pick me up. I am still left guessing now whether I have a way back to the airport to get home. My first and probably last time ever trying to rent a car. What if I were somebody new in town, and had nobody to come pick me up? I suppose someone in that situation would just be left “SOL.”

Walked up to the counter, male employee is wearing bright orange mirrored Pit Viper sunglasses inside, couldn’t see his eyes. Didn’t take them off the entire interaction, felt like I was dealing with Robo-cop.
Dude was soooo out of it on pills/drugs, he couldn’t even explain how the company worked.
Couldn’t find my reservation I made online weeks prior, even though I had my confirmations, ID, and even showed him my bank transactions. Advised I should “just call my bank and dispute it” and made me place a whole new reservation.
Didn’t explain whatsoever that there would be any additional authorization holds, or future charges, just ran my card for $700 and handed it back.
When I asked him about the totals, he had such trouble doing math, he held up his hands and was counting his fingers like a child, with his tongue sticking out of the side of his mouth.
When I assisted him with the incorrect math, and explained what an authorization hold was, he got an attitude, and told me “since you already know everything are we good?” And then refused to speak to me the rest of the interaction, just walked to my vehicle and said “keys are in the cup holder.” And walked off. No information given about how to return or polite send off.
Dude looked and acted like he was wearing clown shoes, seemed like he slept his way through company on-board training.
The entire experience made me wanna yeet their car off a cliff, will not be using them again.
Also PS - tell homie the glasses look ABSOLUTELY ridiculous at work. Leave them home.

WORST EVER. WORST MANAGEMENT. I forgot my airpods in the car while returning, I raised a lost and found complaint in the very next 3 hours. I could see the location of my airpods at their place in find my device application. I get back mails saying that they couldn’t find the item still, I don’t understand whats wrong with these people, I could see my airpods everyday at their location, I visited their office 5 times, never I got any help. I tried reaching out to their manager, I was trying to explain my concern and they hung up straight on my face. Never ever ever visit this place again!

Misleading online information. Unhelpful and unpleasant staff. I had a "no risk reservation" that Hertz refused to honor. Hertz also has the audacity to charge me for a no show when I was early, refused service due to their error, and denied the ability to cancel by staff. Staff directed me to "just wait an hour if it's not letting you cancel online" then they charged me for a no show.

Hi, great experience especially with Kenny K, the Transporter. He provided great service on our drop off at the airport from the car drop off area. Friendly and helpful and a really nice guy!!

If you need to call because your flight is delayed and you can’t put your flight info on the site because it’s pretty much worthless, good luck. I called, no answer. I tried to leave a message, voice message was full. I tried the early check in on my phone, every time it got to the select a vehicle page an error came up. I have NEVER had this type of issue with any other car rental company.

Car was not filled with gas prior to pickup due to weather in the area several days prior knocking out power. I was told I couldn’t swap for a full tank but they would note it on my file at pickup and that I could return it at the same level. Of course, upon return I was charged over $165 for fuel ($10.99/gallon). I have been going back and forth for 2 weeks now with customer service to get money back, despite having timestamped photos of fuel levels at pickup and drop off as well as paperwork from pickup that were sent in. Very disappointing from such a well known company.
I even tried calling the branch multiple times after receiving the receipt with no answer. I left a message requesting a call back with no response since drop off on August 11 (today is August 25).

Off site shuttle crap, get a cab, or if you are under 50, an Uber.

Worst Hertz location bar none. Even as a President's Circle member they almost never have the car I reserve well in advance. Most of the time my name isn't displayed on the Gold member board.

Checking in to get the rental car was a bit difficult, it appears the company is relying on people doing everything on the app. The counter only had 2 people working and the associate had to call her manager for a customer, rather than be able to go get them.
Rental car was is ok condition, wasn’t cleaned super well, the tires were cupping and the vehicle was pulling to the left.
This is my praise - the parking lot is not well labeled how to get out but the gentleman who was working I asked how to get out of the parking lot, he was polite, well spoken, and seemed genuine. He also happened to be the gentleman I spoke to turn in the vehicle letting him know about the tires and the vehicle pulling. He was attentive and listened also made sure to make notes to have someone look at the car. At the time of drop off they were offering a courtesy ride back to the airport & the driver was polite as well had a great demeanor.

Rocky was just plain rude and had an attitude. I felt like they could’ve done more but just refused to. The only reason why they get 2 was because Steve was more helpful and friendly.
Stick enterprise or dollar rental or someone else.

The very good quality of Hertz services, recent and comfortable cars, speed of services.
Important to note, however, is that you must take a shuttle upon arrival at the airport to get to the Hertz office and parking lot, which is not indicated anywhere on their Google maps page nor on the printed reservation, however. Shuttle which turns out to be simple afterwards, but you might as well know it or risk wasting your time in the terminal.
The shuttle driver can kindly help you carry your suitcase inside the van if you have difficulty carrying loads.
