I contacted glass doctors in march 2023 for two shower doors. They sent someone out within 48 hours to measure and provide me an estimate. I placed an order with 50% deposit immediately. Initially, they were great at providing updates via email. It is now Almost September, and I still am shower doorless. Each time I call, the only thing the person answering can tell me is " it looks like the manager is handling this, I can transfer you to him." Every time I am transferred there is no answer. I leave a message, no call back. All I want is transparency. You essentially have an interest free loan from me right now. Please respond, provide me with an update, or cancel my order and return my funds.

We called Glass Doctor two weeks ago and have yet to receive a return call. Would like to raise this rating if/when they come out to estimate our glass pane replacement job.

I got my car window replaced on passenger window last year and it just fell off track one day I called to get it fixed said my warranty was up ok that's fine but can you fix it no we stopped doing auto glass 30 days ago we it turns out they didn't put large enough taps on the glass so eventually the glue came off causing the window to come off track

I have 4 windows with cracks at my home. On July 23, 2022, a year ago, I received a quote and paid 50% down. I was told it would be about 3 weeks. It’s now a year and I do not have my windows fixed. They do not reply to emails. I was given the owner’s voicemail and I left a message. No reply. I decided to report my issues to the Better Business Bureau. They closed the case because the Glass Doctor will not respond. It looks to me that they took my money and ran. I do not recommend this business. I guess my next step is small claims. I’m 65 years old and this is my worst experience ever with a company.

Very disappointing to work with. They were not responsive to any of my questions. They will try and sell you items they do not have, 2 to 4 weeks and turn into 10 weeks. Please use American Express if you want to work with these people so that you can reverse the charges when they don’t deliver

I had 4 cracked windows at my home. I has the Glass Doctor quote and was quoted "about 3 weeks to be delivered.". That was July 22, 2022 exactly one year ago. I paid half down and waited until November for the appointment to install. The salesman ordered the wrong type of pattern inside the window. He said they would have to reorder. He said he hoped they could deliver faster this time. I received an update that the windows should arrive Jan 16, 2023. This date went by. My request for an update to deliver was answered stating that we are waiting for the supplier and we apologize for the inconvenience. Now my emails are not answered. I was put into the owner's voicemail. He does not return calls. I complaIned through the Better Business Bureau. They just closed the complaint because the business did not respond. I would not recommend doing business with the Glass Doctor of Cleveland. They took my $800 and they Do not respond. I have no choice but to take this to the Ohio Attorney General and to take them to Small Claims.

On Sunday July 1st I contacted Glass Doctor for emergency services as the glass in one of my double pane with built in blinds burst from the heat and shattered.I was charged $450 for the emergency service call, Glass Doctor dispatched a service technician to my home with a 9mm strapped around his waist in a holster and enters my home that is occupied by my 93-year old mother and me (female). The service tech was pleasant, but it scared my mother to death.I understand that these are scary times, but this was so unprofessional and I do feel that once the technician saw the that it was a well kept, respectable and peaceful home, he should have left his gun in his vehicle.To date, no one in a Sr. Management or Regional role has contacted to apologize or offered any sort of concern about the encounter. It’s really sad what the world has come to.

The outer pane of our front living room window broke. Glass Doctor came out the day after I called them to quote the work. They had the replacement double pane insert custom made and installed less than 3 weeks later. This was after another local shop quoted me 6 to 8 weeks!The tech did a great job taking care not to damage the wood trim around our oak casement window.

Don't waste your time going here. Even though they have signs up saying they do auto glass and windshields that is a lie. I was just there today to inquire about windshield repair and they told me they haven't done that in a long time and they don't deal with auto glass at all even though the signs up say they do

I ordered a replacement window February 8 and was told it would take 4-6 weeks to get in. I have called on the 6,7 and 8th weeks and the only response from the person answering the phone is "we will contact you when we here something". A simple phone call to the manufacturer would clear this issue up but they refuse to do so. Certainly not a very good way to help a customer that has already paid for half of the order.Del Griggs

I am very grateful they could send a technician out within hours! They replaced my broken glass with a better-quality piece and it's under warranty. A bit pricey in my opinion but I have nothing to compare the price to.
