Last week my daughter had an issue with her Volvo and the repair shop recommended she take it to Dan to check it out. She called and he told to bring it right in. When we arrived he immediately took a look and was able to fix the issue within ten minutes. He is so kind to her - he didn’t even charge her for his time. It’s obvious he knows his way around a car. Let me start by saying you are NOT going to find another person as passionate and as knowledgeable about vehicles then Dan. He’s taking my vehicle and done a complete inspection repaired multiple issues, and suggested some amazing additions. I could not be happier. Although they are a pain to work on, Dan Gerber knows Mercedes Benz. He was able to fix my S420 after wasting time and money visiting several other mechanics. The dealership only sells the car. My advice is to just get a simple common car

Gave GEAR a call after my check engine light came on after a Cross Country trip from California to Ohio. I asked simple question and got a smart-ass reply. I simply asked if they are busy. "I myself am a mechanic and I have busy days and not so busy days" so the question I asked was fair. " I can't help you with your check engine light issue in your BMW 740i has said the fella who answered." I guess they're not as good as everyone say's they are.

Very nice and professional, he took time away from his job to explain in detail the problem and fix. The workers at the shop are also kind and respectful. Dan is the Man, how I regret not knowing him many years ago. He was able to fix a problem that another shop took 2 trys and could not figure out. I will now be a customer for life. Five Star service. Dan is a very knowledgeable and professional repair technician. I drive and older model Bmw truck. Dan is amazing. He is a car guru when it comes to European cars and beyond. He fixed an electrical issue from Hell in my Mercedes. He spent countless hours searching for the issue and was able to fix it within a timely manner and for a reasonable price. Best of all, he's a genuine person that won't take advantage of you.
