Got here early.....the first thing for the trucker to do is:
- Get on the scale. Then call number as stated on sign and wait for someone to pick up.
- They will ask you for your company name, truck # trailer #, and a pickup #.
- They will tell you drive through to old looking fuel islands, now some men don't pay attention to directions but I decided to go ahead and make a right by the truck repair place, all the way forward then back into the dock 7. (Of course, pull your tandems when you get into the correct position.) Then, back into the doors.
- You would be assigned a forklift driver. That person will load you and let you know that your paperwork is ready to go. What you do is once you're done you go back on the scale facing forward to the front call the same number and they tell you to get off the scale and come and get your paperwork and that's it.
Lol.... I did take the picture of the bathroom, and what's so funny is I guess the door is so old it got stuck. So I was locked in in a certain way and had to call the number from the scale to get someone to come and open the door. I need to work out more in my arms. LOL.
Over are the yard drivers seem nice they will direct you to the right place just watch your step.

Slow at loading, and they will load you rear heavy...check your axle weights before you leave. You'll get stuck running over weight and over length if you don't.

Never would I have imagined that it was such a challenging task to find a dependable paper recycling company. Over a four week period with multiple phone calls and emails, I finally found Gateway Recycling. Not only was Angie Wade an exceptional and informative representative, BUT she also committed to me receiving the bins the very next day!!! I highly recommend Gateway Recycling. Just save yourself time, aggravation and broken contracts and give Gateway a call.

Don't follow gps the entrance is on the far or south side of the building just before the tracks. A CB on channel 4 is how shipping communicates with drivers then pull on scale they have you then park on left of scale till the loader tells you what dock. Tight place especially to turn for docks 5 to 8 as they park trailer in the way so you can't turn around. Fast to load no overnight parking.

If you're making deliveries or pick up it's pretty cool they're pretty fast and it's kind of tight but not too bad

Our company hired Gateway Recycling (Cleveland Branch) to shred 2 storage areas worth of documents. They were prompt and reasonably priced. The account specialist, Angie, was fantastic and easy to work with. The driver, Diavis, was top notch. He was professional, efficient and personable. I highly recommend this company.

Your Pittsburgh branch has a maniac truck driver who ignores all posted entrance/exit signs, stops his truck in traffic & gets out to threaten people. Their customer service is unresponsive. I really hope you guys can figure this out before he hurts someone.
