Please let me say this has nothing to do with the employees, well most of them and I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but family dollar Will never get another penny of my money. These stores really need to work on their “purse”policy! I am a 39-year-old female, who carries the backpack purse. Every time I entered one of the stores. I’m asked to put my PURSE at the front of the store, is so uncomfortable because it’s like your profiled. I wonder how many women come into these store with large purses that deal with this too. first and foremost it’s an invasion of privacy. My wallet is in there with all of my identification, credit cards, etc. you could have pills in there you could have anything that I’m sure Family Dollar would not be able to replace if it were taken. The profiling has become petty and it’s unacceptable. I’ve seen a family dollar store employee running after a woman asking her to open her purse, after he thought she took something. I see lawsuits in the future! If Family dollar is so worried about shoplifting, HIRE SECURITY!There need to be guidelines for this kind of stuff because to me, it is Unethical.

They are ok. They don't always have what I need but they have a pretty ok selection. Hopefully they start carrying more stuff since Dollar General up the street closing.

When entering the door, the cashier always smiles and speaks. It makes me feel comfortable. Always have what I am looking for, no complaints.

Often out of order and staff seems to not care almost always 2 people or more and they are lazy one does the cash register and the rest just chat while the whole store has boxes around and there is a long long with plenty of other registers they could use it's quite annoying to deal with be good prices for snacks etc.

It was in disarray. I usually go in the morning( it's neat and clean then),but I went after work. I like going to this family dollar. The clerk was very helpful.
