The top notch reviews are legit. Others have mentioned you might need to wait a bit but agree, the quality and product you get back are worth the wait. We had metal back bar stools cushioned and both the new back and existing seat reupholstered to match. I am still in awe of the stitching detail and quality of their work. I didn't know what to expect regarding price because I haven't done this before but it seemed very reasonable to me compared to new and I got to pick the exact fabric I wanted out of a ton of samples. They helped me narrow fabric down quickly based on my needs. I couldn't find new barstools I liked as much as mine but needed a cushioned back. Now, I'm in love again with my stools. Highly recommend if you want quality craftsmanship.

I came into the store with a full boat cabin cushion project that needed re-upholstery. I was walked through the various colors and fabrics that was recommended to me for this type of environment. Everything was very professional and it was no problem for the team. We got delivery right before Memorial Day Weekend, about 4 month turn around for 11 custom boat cushions. The new cushions were a real head turner down in the boat. We are very pleased and will be back for some exterior cushions and the two v-berth sections.

Fabric Showcase has re-upholstered several chairs and a loveseat for me.
Their work is flawless, and help in choosing fabric invaluable. They even restored the wooden arms and legs of the chair, making it look showroom new. Such a lovely, unexpected bonus!

I have used this gem of a small, family owned upholsterer several times over the years. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, the shop although small is beautifully organized. Tanya is an amazing help and her vision for the final product is spot on. The shop is stocked with hundreds of fabric options. Their delivery staff is competent and punctual. If there is a problem or concern, Andrew (second generation owner) responds quickly with any concerns. My only caution is because they are such a popular and dependable service, plan ahead to get your piece of furniture back, it can take a few weeks for pickup and completion. Despite that, I will happily use them again in the future. They are worth the wait.

We found Fabric Showcase by doing a Google search and started working with them in August 2023. Our experience working with them has been outstanding and their staff is extremely knowledgeable, patient and customer focused. The quality of their work is exceptional and we highly recommend Fabric Showcase!

Andrew reupholstered two chairs several years ago. The quality of his workmanship and professionalism was exceptional. Needed two sofas reupholstered recently and called on Andrew again. And again Andrew and his team exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Fabric Showcase.

I have a wing back chair that I purchased from Fish Furniture 30 years ago that needed to be reupholstered, who Sherry at Fish recommended. I looked Fabric Showcase up online and they do have a website, but the phone number listed on the website, 216-302-0893 only rings about 50 times then starts beeping, with no voice mail. I then contacted the company via the webmail that they have on their website. I went to the showroom at 22008 Lorain Rd, (website also lists an address of 22012 Lorain Rd.) Cleveland Ohio 44126 on December 18th, chose a fabric and put a deposit of $643.08 down on my credit card. The receipt address had a different address of 15210 Industrial Pkwy, Cleveland 44135. My chair was picked up on December 26th, and I was given an estimated completion of 3 months. When my chair was picked up, there were 2 other chairs in the truck being returned due to the customer not being happy. (mental note) I then got a phone call at the end of January, so one month, that stated that my chair was complete. With all of the irregularities in phone numbers, addresses and knowing that the customer with the 2 chairs was not happy, I asked to see my chair. I was told to go to the 15210 Industrial Pkwy address. The chair had many issues that even Andrew, the owner saw. The issues that he saw were:01-Firmer foam in seat cushion 02-Filling the corners in the back of the seat cushion so the deck underneath isn't seen 03--Straightening of the welt at the back of one side of the seat cushion 04--Smoothing out of the "puckering" on the outside wings including welting and 05-Additional lumbar support on the inside back Additional issues that I saw were that the back of the chair was puffed out like they put an air pocket there and just covered it with fabric. There was no firmness and one finger could easily push the puffed hollow feeling area in. The other big issue that I saw was that both arms of the chair were not adequately covered with padding. I could easily feel the wood and wooden corners right under the fabric. The area where the wing meets the arm looked like it was directly glued to the wood with absolutely no padding. Andrew refused to address the issue of the lack of padding over the wooden areas of the arms. He offered to have me pick up the chair as is which has not been touched since last seen, which is not possible due to health issues and told me to dispute the credit card charge. I got an email from him on 2/14/24 that stated: " It's ok, refunding all of your money is good customer service. And I'm glad to have moved on from this. I'll work with my credit card processor to give you a refund of your deposit." Today I got an email: "I would ask your bank about the reversal. The reversal is out of my hands." Andrew is all games, which my bank warned me of based on all of the emails that I have sent to them. Today, he is refusing to give the promised credit back of my deposit. He could easily give me back my deposit in secs

Andrew and his crew recovered a sectional for me. The work was excellent. They picked up exactly when they said they would and had it finished on time. It looks and sits great.

I finally had the mom's (now mine) piano exterior refinished and the action re-done. So the next step was to restore and re-upholster the piano bench with a rich Jacobean pattern. The bench has sentimental meaning. It is an art deco piece c. 1928, made of cast iron. The cast iron was re-glazed. It turned out so beautifully. I have to be honest and say I purchased the material elsewhere, but Fabric Showcase does have a HUGE assortment of samples. I have a picture of what it was (with a blue-ish patter, and old sad-looking base) and the new and improved version and picture of the piano it will be placed with. It took about 4 months but so worth it! Thank You Fabric Showcase! Outstanding!

In recovering my mid century chairs, I was very particular to ensure the right size foam was used to maintain the “mid century look”. Andrew knew exactly the 1” height of foam required. 6 chairs were recovered and delivered in time as quoted. Outstanding customer service and professional workmanship - chairs look as new like they did in 1962!
