I stopped in to get a bite and felt like I was visiting the family!! Rhone was very informative, seasoned and welcoming while Leon made the best short rib philly I ever had!! They are both very humble and great at what they do!! This was my first time going in but I'll definitely be going back!! (I had to hurry up and take the picture because it smelled like heaven)

PREPARING FOOD WITHOUT GLOVES: Feeling disappointed after ordering from here several times only to realize they use their bare hands to prepare my sandwich every time but today I happen to walk up to the counter at the same time the woman is using her whole left hand to hold my sandwich down while she cuts it ?. I stopped her to ask if that’s really what she was doing and she went on to explain she washed her hands ?. I then asked the manager who confirmed that it’s not an expectation to wear gloves to prepare food specifically a sandwich and he went on to explain that they wash their hands throughout the day “every 20 minutes” ??. I nicely asked for my money back and took the 20 minute walk back to work in shock. For those who don’t mind this… you will be right at home but I felt the need to inform others. That’s is extremely unsanitary. The woman was literally working on paperwork when I walked in, idk what she did or didn’t do but washed or not washing. Fresh gloves would have done the job.

BEST Reuben I’ve had in Cleveland so far! We had such a great experience at Edwin’s. Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable and the our lunch was delicious! I can’t wait to come back. My only complaint would be that it was difficult to figure out where to park, but that definitely is not a deterrent for us.

BEST Reuben I've had in Cleveland so far! We had such a great experience at Edwin's. Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable and the our lunch was delicious! I can't wait to come back. My only complaint would be that it was difficult to figure out where to park, but that definitely is not a deterrent for us.

On Thursday of last week I picked up an order for 8 pounds of spare ribs and paid $75.00. The ribs were for a family dinner I was cooking for my family in honor of my Mother who was just diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer. While preparing the ribs I saw that three of them were just bone and fat, little or no meat. I was very upset because not only was I told that each rib had a pound of meat, but now I wouldn't have enough ribs for dinner.I reached out to Edwin's and spoke with the manager. He gave me a really hard time and had no compassion for my situation. He did not understand my frustration and kept defending his product. I ended up in tears and hung up on him because at this point I was too upset to even talk. I am so disappointed in this place. I really cannot fathom how any business owner or manager would lack understanding or compassion for a customer who was genuinely upset and was seeking help. Not only will I never go back to Edwin's, I will not hesitate to share this experience. Shameful.

Each portion of the bldg is amazing. The cafe with a variety of pastries and assorted coffees. The restaurant is Simply delightful and Yolanda is amazing just the sweetest. You will not feel like you're on Buckeye walking in there. And then the butcher shop is a silent gem as well.
