The gals that I have dealt with for selling...didn't know brands very well!

Such a great experience! I had a recent experience at a resale shop for kids and it was just horrible so I kind of had PTSD walking into another one. This experience could not have been better! From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly and professional. They took my bins and said it would be about 20 minutes. My husband and I had another errand so we left to do that. I received a text 10 minutes later that it was ready! When we came back again the staff was friendly and professional. They gave me my bins with what they didn't buy ( I had some out-of-season items that they said to check back when they were buying) and my offer, with an itemized receipt! Cash in hand I left very pleased with the entire experience! Next time I'll make sure I have time to shop too!

5 years later and still rude and unprofessional to customers. LUCKILY I wasn’t the one selling/shopping but I was there with a friend who was nothing but nice a respectful and she was still treated her like trash. I had this same experience 5 years ago the first and last time I tried to sell there too. I was actually accused of bringing in a fake Lv skirt even though I picked it out at Saks myself. The employee looked at it for all of 3 seconds and I’m pretty sure I left a review about it back in 2019 too! As someone who shops at the Dior store in Saks frequently they’d never in a million years treat customers like that. Most of the employees at CM dress completely outdated and take stuff that hasn’t been in style in a very long time it was actually so egregious and audacious I had to laugh. I told my friend to forget it and I ended up giving her cash for the clothes to help her out instead. You can tell they don’t really care about staying on trend or knowing the trend and are judging people because they’re coming in selling clothes for extra money. Wrong types to be working in resale business. Just a bad experience all around and you can tell that the other peoples rude experiences are real too because of how unprofessional, combative and condescending the businesses is responding to the bad reviews lol! Stay away!

Came to the reviews to see if anyone had the same experience as I did and unfortunately, I wasn’t wrong. The amount of money they offer you for your items scream, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?” I brought in 8 pairs of shoes barely worn, including a pair of ankle boots, never worn. The shoe brands were Jessica Simpson and Giani Binni, which we know are not cheap. They couldn’t accept four pair because they were out of season and claimed one pair had “dirt” on the bow. There was no dirt, but ok. So that left 3 pair including the brand new pair of leather ankle boots. The offer was $11.60. FOR THREE PAIRS of shoes in great shape. That was very disappointing and not even worth the time to gather up my things nor the gas to drive there.

I do not care for clothes Mentor as far as doing Consignment with them.
I Also
do not like the coldness there with the workers that work there not friendly at all.
I Used to buy clothes there. But when it comes to can bring things there with the price tickets still on there and they only want to give you 2 or $3 for your items so I will not be buying anything else at this location on
Mayfield road.
Honestly the Items I bought there wasn't a lot better shape than some of the Items that they try to sell.
Has happened to me a few times at this location.
It's Something that's not right.Does going on at this location and I don't like it so I will not be going back.

Much like Chipotle for some people...I ALWAYS regret coming here...it's in reference to the service. I'm also not a seller so not disgruntled about 'they won't take my stuff'. It's 0 Star service every time.

This store never disappoints. It is my "go-to" store before I go anywhere else. I always find a lot of name brand items. The store is very organized by size and colors. The staff is very helpful and courteous! I highly recommend!

Awful experience. Staff was exceptionally rude. I was never informed that my order was sorted through, but when I called they said it was and that nothing was accepted. It was very clear they had never looked at any of my items. I brought probably 30 pieces that were in season/style and in mint condition (most with tags)
They ask that you pick up your “for sale” items the same day you drop off and I made sure to get there right at closing to abide by the guidelines only to be met with horrible customer service and no explanation for why my clothes weren’t taken.
In summary, it was a waste of time and gas money.

Brought in 13 pair of brand new in box women's shoes today with a marked retail price a bit over $500.
Their offer was $54 which I thought was a bit low, I would've accepted $80, but I get it, it's resale: buy cheap, sell high.
What I didn't appreciate about this experience was the utter lack of customer service skills exhibited by all three employees there. No greeting, no acknowledgement of my presence, nothing.
They also left all 13 pairs of shoes on the counter opened and i hade to repack them without anyone stepping up to help or anyone expressing any sign that this was their job, not mine.
Would never even consider going back to the store. I can deal with lowball offers, it's to be expected, but at least greet me a smile as you try to rip me off.

Had a great experience at Clothes Mentor today. It had been an awhile since I had been in and they have really expanded and had great items. Sold some things on this visit. Very simple and easy process. Also, they also have accessories o line to purchase. Very cool!

Had a bad experience trying to sell clothes here. They never called me to say that my order was ready, and when I called them, they couldn’t tell me how much they would pay. Worst of all, they donated my clothes before I had the chance to come back and pick them up. Only after I drove back over did I learn that they donate clothes after just 72 hours. Staff were not empowered to help me.

Brought in a huge bag of clothes to sell and the lady said she’d take about 20 minutes to look through it. Called me back literally 2 seconds later saying she wouldn’t take any of it. Unless you’re The Flash, there’s no way anyone can look through clothes that fast. At least look through it. If you're a young girl, don’t even try to sell clothes here. The women here won’t take you seriously. Makes sense though, because while they look for name brand items, nothing in this store is actually in style unless you’re 40+ years old. Go to Plato’s.

Terrible customer service! Waited forever to check out. Finally I was checking out and in the middle of the woman ringing me up she just walked away. Are you kidding me? I think that place is too old for me, it feels like a. Old folk home.
