I tried to do business withBruening Glass Works of Rocky River, Ohio. Having sent them an item to repair in January 2023, owner Marc ***** insisted on prepayment, which I provided. It was supposed to be in the queue to repair in 3-4 months. I kept contacting him, and each time he said it would be "next week", but now he no longer responds. I find no obituary. I want my sentimental item back. I'm out $136 and the item.If you look at his higher reviews here, you will see that most mentioned the unreasonable time he took. The BBB has numerous complaints about him, and his rating there is "F".If you choose to get involved with this company, know that you may never get your money or your pieces back. If you do get your repaired piece, you are going to be waiting months or years for it.

Marc repaired a cut glass bowl for me. Artistry takes time. If you are not in a hurry, you will not be disappointed in the results of your repair.

It's intricate work so don't rush him. I sent a broken Russian Crystal goblet to Marc. He said be patient it would take a few months to get it done. His work is exquisite. The goblet is flawless. He is an artist who loves his work and making his clients happy.

Bruening Glass crafted curved glass to replace the broken sections in my antique outdoor lamp. The glass was perfect and precise in size, shape and radius. The work was completed in two weeks, including round-trip shipping time. Marc Konys was in touch throughout. Very happy with the experience and the result.

The owner of this establishment is a disgrace. I have employed Marc's services twice over the past three years to have some Baccarat Crystal chandelier and candelabra parts repaired and rebuilt. Each time I was quoted a 10-12 weeks turnaround time and each time was significantly longer. This current project, which he hasn't even started, has taken well over a year and he cant even locate the parts I sent to him. He also requires payment up front; this time I am out over $2,500. I have kept a detailed journal showing every time I have called and emailed him (73 times now) and he rarely, if ever calls back. Each time he does he spews more lies about how he's going to locate my property and ship it back to me. To say that he is disrespectful and unprofessional is the understatement of the decade. This is just one of SEVERAL horrible reviews that have been made about this company, specifically Marc Konys. This includes the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT TRUST MARC KONYS WITH YOUR PROPERTY OR YOUR MONEY! You WILL regret it.

I am at a total loss. Having shipped my mother's Waterford lampshade for repair January 2023 I have yet to receive it. Many emails and phone calls are left unanswered. Marc actually called me in early July with an update. The shade hasn't been sent. My mother died 10 years ago on Christmas day. It's one of the few remembrances I have of her. It means so much to me.Marc doesn't respond to pleading or rational. I don't understand. I've paid for it's repair. I don't care about the money, just the shade. Marc if you read any of these reviews please help me.

Put in an order for glass in 2021 and it has still not come.What is happening? My employee continues to call him and ask but it seems as though he just stole our money. I may bring to small claims court, I will head to Ohio to attend court.

Great initial communication. Pre-paid $760 to duplicate 2 crystal prisms. Told me 3 month turn around (around 4/30). In late may I began inquiring. It took multiple attempts, but finally got a response that the prisms were completed and just needed final polishing. Told they would be mailed out the following week. In late June I began calling and emailing. Finally, I got a reponse that the prisms were completed, and just needed final polishing. Told they would be mailed out the following week (same exact thing I was told a month earlier). In late July I started calling and emailing a bunch of times. Eventually I was told that the prisms would be mailed out later that week. I asked if he would notify me when it got sent out, and if he would provide me with a tracking number. I was told he would. About a month later, to my surprise, the package arrived in the mail one day. No heads up that it had been shipped, no tracking number..... it took 7 long months, but thankfully, Marc did a great job at duplicating the crystal prisms I sent him.
