Beware! This place looks like a horror movie straight out of the 70s. Seats are ripped up and the place is disgusting. The doctors “helper” smells like cigarettes and the doctors himself is a whole other review…. We had to tell him what to look for in our new dog we brought to him, otherwise, I don’t think he would’ve done anything and still charged us $60 for their “exam”! Overpriced, unprofessional and uneducated. I’d rather go to Banfield or some other commercial vet where you are just a number but at least you get what you paid for

I’ve brought my cats here multiple times, and they’ve always been quick and provided good service. At my last appointment, I was bringing in a cat who came from my parents but was originally a rescue. I mentioned both of those things separately in the appointment, which I admit might have been confusing, but they didn’t ask any follow-up questions. At the end, while I was just outside the exam room paying my bill, I could hear, through the open door, the two people who had been in the appointment making comments about me and saying I needed to “pick a story.” It made me very uncomfortable.

This place is the best. Family owned and operated, Dr Soma is the best vet I've ever had. He's gentle, kind and caring with every animal I've brought to him. The staff is pretty efficient too.

I had been a loyal satisfied customer at this veterinarians office for 30 years. Dr Shaw is kind, caring, attentive and really good at what he does. However, in the last few years, as prices have skyrocketed for veterinary care and for flea tick and heartworm medication, this office now only works with an online pharmacy. Please be aware that the same medication, Simparica trio , Is literally double the price that you would pay at Chewy. And although this veterinarians office claims to work with Chewy, in fact, they do not. You must obtain a written prescription and mail it to Chewy. And be careful about getting this written prescription, that it in fact covers, all of your animals that you are seeking to get the medication for. I have two dogs and after requesting the prescription to be mailed to me as I live 45 minutes away, it finally arrived for a six month prescription for only one of my dogs. it almost feels like they are playing games with their clients, in order to force them to take the easier and more expensive route of using their own online pharmacy. Frankly, I resent this. After 30 years, I will be looking for a different veteran .

Traveling in from out of town our pup had an abscessed anal gland. After contacting a number of vets, Brookview was able to get us in quickly and take care of our little guy! Friendly and kind staff. Thank you Brookview Animal Hospital!
