Never get into an accident with a bristol west customer. My car got totaled in January. I drove a vehicle in unsafe conditions for months, and I didn’t get a cent for it until October. I barely received any updates and had to track down the contact information for every person involved with the other insurance company. Over the course of months, i’ve poured hours into calling various departments to get a phone number, just for them to give me another phone number- all of which shouldn’t have been my job. Lastly, my settlement was disgustingly inadequate and left me with over 2000$ less than my car’s damages and over 3000$ less than what I paid for my car. Overall, worst company that i’ve ever had to deal with.

Terrible customer service! They cannot send a simple form to the correct department at my state's BMV. I keep getting the runaround from customer service agents and supervisors. This has caused a delay in getting my driver's license. IT SHOULD NOT TAKE OVER 2 WEEKS TO SEND A FORM. My advice is to stay away from this company

The worst experience I have ever had in my life was hiring Bristol West as my car insurance company. They did horrible damage to my car, they never answered my calls after the accident, they never responded until 2 months later. I lost my house, my job, I had all the problems in the world and was incredibly depressed. I also have three traumatic post-mortems because of Bristol and their irresponsibility, especially Mr. Michael Hopkins, he is an incompetent, good-for-nothing. Please, I do not recommend this insurance company at all.

The worst company you can choose is this, they are abusers and thieves. To enter their policy they make everything very nice and give you some explanations that after you enter the policy are totally false. They raise your policy before 6 months without any valid excuse and you have to pay it no matter what and then you pay everything and cancel the policy and they advise you that the entire account is at zero to cancel because they send you an email home saying that you have another debt that you have to pay yes or no it does not matter if their own agents have explained to you that you do not owe anything more and that your account is at zero, in the end they tell you that the agent gave you wrong information or simply the agent he got confused. THINK VERY WELL BEFORE STARTING A POLICY WITH THEM. Blessings

Are you an your family looking for the worst insurance company in the USA. Well look no further. You found them.
Trying to call them? Goodluck, they will maybe answer next week. There too busy answering the other 1000000 people dealing with similar issues.

They are great at one thing. Being the worse..
Trying to pay off the rest of my policy to never deal with these low iq individuals who run the show over there.

My husband was in an accident on labor day weekend of this year. They gave him a rental for 30days before even sending the car to Caliber Collision's and in the policy it states that after the car has been sent to get fixed than he can continue to have the rental. They told him no they are not paying for another rental. They waited 30 days to give the car to the people to get fixed. The car was damaged really bad and they only gave the Caliber Collison people 12,000 to fix it. They said it will be more than that cause the airbags deployed and it can be a total loss. We got the lawyers involved cause they are hot ass garbage for an insurance company. They then switched his adjuster from Austin Crosby because he didn’t know what the hell he was doing and never answered the phone. Then Diyonne Scarlett is his new adjuster and she sucks too. The supervisor was not of assistance which was John Kieper. They are the worst insurance company on the planet and will be sued. So if you have them CANCEL YOUR POLICY ASAP and DISPUTE ALL CHARGES WITH THEM. They are a fraudulent company with very bad customer service and no actual knowledge of how insurance works. Other insurance companies stated that they have heard about them and they are not very bright on insurance!!!

Worst insurance ever. They gave me so much issue with insurance it’s crazy took payment saying that it would go back to regular insurance rate never did it’s still pending and nun of the customer survive people ever get back with updates unless I call them and I get another charge because I didn’t follow back I paid 800$ they said it would go back to the low price and now they still have a 500$ charge on my account while they did nothing but give me trouble. Now they have on my account saint I still owe them 400$ that some bull shit. YOU Don’t this .

I had a previous policy with this company and never had any problems. I just got a new car and called them to get it insured. I paid the premium and was told it went through and I'd receive an email with documents to sign and complete. 5 minutes after the phone call was completed, I noticed I never received any email so I decided to call back. Apparently I never made a new policy with them and my bank account just happens to say otherwise. I was transferred to a manager where then I was told to call my bank and dispute it. To me, this was a complete waste of my time and money. Not happy.

This is the absolute WORST company I've ever used I signed a 6mo policy with the and every month there was some sort of issue so when my policie was up I informed them I didn't want to renew. They still charged my account for the renewal fee and the wanted to charge even more money to get that back. Fast forward a few weeks the finaly send me a paper check to refund what the should have never took and then issued a stop payment on the check after I deposited it into my account. The repisenatives aee all rude and aggressive.

Bristol West Insurance is GARBAGE!!
I have had nothing but trouble from this company.
1- Keeping auto insurance active because of computer issues on their end resulting in lapses in payment and
2- Nonexistent customer service with agents that won't answer or return phonecalls. I tried going to what was my agents office only to find it permanently closed down and deserted with all furniture gone.
I will NEVER do business with company again.
Thus company is nothing but a scam!!
