We were so impressed when Dr. Pohlman actually got down on the floor with our big chocolate lab to make sure she could see and find everything she was looking for! To us that looks like dedication!

The doctor has such a good manner with my cat. She can calm him and really figure out what's going on with his behavior. I would recommend her to anyone!

Always wonderful care by Dr Pam. She obviously loves animals and has a wealth of information to share about their care. Her staff is also A+ providing a warm friendly environment for pets and their owners.

I have to write this review because we have taken our family pets to this vet for at least 30 years. Dr Pohlman and Dr Stanberry before her. I don’t think the office has changed in all of that time-which is a positive and negative. I appreciate the excellent care that dr p gives my pets-she spends quality time with them and is very honest about her opinions which can sometimes feel a bit aggressive. However, I like that she is honest and not just trying to squeeze every dime out of you. For this reason, I have tried to stay with her after being disappointed with some other things. This is an extremely small vet clinic-dr, son, and receptionist. It is extremely hard to reach them-just to schedule an appointment. Their hours are very limited. The wait in the clinic is always extremely long-for appointments or to pick up meds and omg the clinic is desperately in need of a rehab. These have all been problems but what ultimately had me decide i need to go somewhere else is the receptionist. She is incredibly unfriendly, rude, and terrible with follow up. This has not been a one time issue, it is every.single.time. She is probably one of the most consistently unpleasant employee I have ever encountered. So unfortunately it is time to end our relationship with this office!

I had the pleasure of bringing my beloved furry companion to Bay Village Animal Clinic, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We were greeted with warmth and genuine care. The staff at Bay Village Animal Clinic is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to providing the best possible care for our pets. Their commitment to ensuring the well-being of animals is truly commendable. Dr. Pohlmann, the veterinarian at Bay Village Animal Clinic, is an absolute gem. Their expertise and passion for animals were evident throughout the entire visit. Dr. Pohlmann conducted a thorough examination, explaining each step along the way, and provided a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to my pet's specific needs. I highly recommend Dr. Pohlmann for anyone who has fur friends.

Based off of previous reviews, I can see other people have experienced this woman being aggressive and rude and incorrectly diagnosing their pets. I had brought my dogs there for years, they are the same age. However my one dog had a fairly rapidly declining health with symptoms we couldn’t ignore. We had taken him there multiple times over the span of a year or so. She did minimal testing and diagnosed him with thyroid issues and was extremely aggressive. Always assumed it was one thing and never bothered with anything else entirely unrelated. He was balding and had some odd spots, and he was seeming weaker. Over time, I noticed a fingernail growing oddly thick and long and his paws were pink and his nose was dry. He was also balding more and not improving much over a long enough period of time. I brought him in again, and told her I found it concerning, hoping for the best and asking if it may be a fungus. She proceeded to yell at me and say “I can believe what I hear on the internet and we can just give him the pills and make it worse.” She then checked nothing else on him, She told me he had probably broken his toe and I didn’t notice. How would I not have noticed? It made me feel horrible, and I knew she couldn’t be right. I had tears in my eyes and she was relentless. Extremely flabbergastingly mean. Upon taking him to a new vet, they found out within 30 minutes he likely has cancer and needs a toe amputation. I could’ve caught this much earlier if I hadn’t had this woman as my vet. Do NOT take your pets here, it is no joke. She should never care for or attempt to treat an animal again. Like I said, I can see from the reviews that this is a recurring issue, and I am sorry for the other poor people who have experienced this truly vile woman. No one deserves to be treated like that and go through this. It is insane she can run her clinic like that, and I cannot stress how much I truly hope she license revoked.

Thank you to Dr. Pohlmann and Marissa at Bay Village Animal Clinic for taking such great care of our kitty Gracie. She was not feeling well today and they were able to squeeze her in without an appointment and get some meds into her. The gentle care, concern and counsel is greatly appreciated as we take care of our elderly girl who is almost 17 years old. THANK YOU!

First, the receptionist is sweet and friendly, as well as someone who listens to you! I did have to wait a bit longer than any other office BUT 100% worth every minute. The Vet is friendly, thorough, honest, and fair. Everything you could hope for in a vet office! I found my new permanent vet!

I wish I could give Dr. Pohlmann and her staff 10 stars. She is absolutely fabulous! A friend reccomended her, because the previous practice I took our son to, didn't help him and they were incredibly overpriced. Not only has Dr. Pohlmann identified his health issues, she explained to us what we can do to help him and showed us how to apply the meds that he needs. She is very informative, down to earth and she definitely has a way with 4 leggers. We love that she and her staff truly do care for your pets, as it shows in how they handle them and speak to you. I feel so fortunate to finally have a vet that puts the health of your pets ahead of profit. Kudos to Dr. Pohlmann, Jordan and Marissa for all their kindness and help with our son ?

Simply amazing!! Dr. Pohler has taught me so much about dog health and is always to meet with me and answer my questions. She took care of my senior dog until she passed. The clinic even assists you with the cremation. She has been taking care of my 8 year old since she was a puppy. Helped figure out her food allergies. I highly recommend Bay Village Animal Clinic!!

They're very kind here and I have found the doctor to be thorough BUT I've waited up to 2 hours past my appointment time and eventually left because she still hadn't come see us. There are only 2 rooms so I know she wasn't busy with a bunch of pets, just 1 before us. This has happened numerous times. So if you make an appointment, just make sure you bring a book or something. You'll wait at least 45 minutes .
