Good place, nice tour. Was already visiting the area.
However, my partner was asked to shut off his video recording while there was another person broadcasting on TikTok the entire time talking over people. If you don’t want video being taken, ask EVERYBODY to stop.

What a wonderful journey back in time to my childhood and my favorite Christmas film. This place is simply magical. Anyone who is a fan of this film should stop by here and book a tour.
The House from A Christmas Story, now restored to its movie splendor, is open year round to the public for tours and overnight stays. Directly across the street from the House is our Museum, which features original props, costumes and memorabilia from the film, as well as hundreds of rare behind-the-scenes photos. Among the props and costumes are the toys from the Higbee’s window, Randy’s snowsuit, the chalkboard from Miss Shields’ classroom and the family car. After reliving your favorite Christmas Movie, don’t forget to visit the Gift Shop right across the street for your own Major Award Leg Lamp and other great movie memorabilia.
