I very rarely post a review, and even more rarely post a negative review.
My experience with Swedish Solutions compels me to let others know my experience.
I had a simple issue. I just needed a key fob reprogrammed or replaced.
SS was in my neighborhood and reviews were okay, so I made an appointment there instead of driving to a Volvo dealer.
As the Volvo was my only car in Cleveland, I was car-less while they had it.
Day one: they were not able to finish., but they promised it would be ready the next day.
Day 2: Could not finish, because the owner had the only computer capable of reprogramming. They promised that day three would be better. They would call me on the morning of day 3.
Day 3: Ghosted! No call, so I called them four times but they would not answer or return my voicemails.
I DID get a call from the service rep at 2:30 AM the next morning but he later apologized for the call, saying he accidentally called me. Never an apology for being ignored.
I called a dealer that afternoon (Motorcars Volvo) and they easily took care of the issue. I highly recommend the dealer.
I learned my lesson.

Swedish Solution has been taking care of our family's cars for over 20 years. They communicate all the "must do, should do, could do" repairs and help me decide when the right time is. I really trust these guys and strongly recommend them!

I dropped my car off there in March to have a few things fixed and a few parts installed. They told me they were pretty busy, I said no rush. Well, a month later they hadn't even looked at the car yet, so I started asking if they could please work on it. Another month went by and they finally at least told me what was wrong, and quoted me $6300 to repair. To be fair, BMWs are expensive to fix. But you'd think for that much money, they'd, you know, fix it. Apparently their BMW guy just left one day, so my car sat there. The owner kept apologizing and telling me he expected them to get it to it next week, and he'd call with an update. They neither started working on it, nor called me with updates. That went on for probably another month.
We're at about 4 months now and I still don't have my car. I just got off the phone with them and they're hoping for next week. I imagine it'll be another 2-3 weeks, maybe longer. Seriously, after taking this long they should have just given me my car back so I could take it somewhere else. I've been paying insurance on it and I can't drive it. And mind you, I'm a single father without any transportation due to them. To be fair, the owner said he'd try to get me a loaner car if I really needed one.
Update: Trying to be fair. I'm still very displeased with everything, but they just called me and said they found my clutch line was rusted, so they're repairing it free of charge. I'm bumping it up from 1 star to 2. I'm still very displeased overall.

Everything was done as promised, and I waited for less than an hour. After the oil change I have not had any leaks, no was there any old old dripping from any of the car frame.

Recently, my wife was traveling to Cleveland from out of town, and during the trip, her car was telling her it was pretty low on oil. SS got her in the day we called, and checked the car thoroughly for oil leaks, and changed the oil and filter. They were extremely accommodating in looking at her car the day we called them, so my wife's trip wouldn't go completely sideways. They were extremely professional. I can't thank them enough.
