If I could give this home depot - stars I would this has happen more than 1 occasion of ordering a product that was too heavy for me to get to my car. I sat at curbside for over 25 mins waiting for someone to bring out my items had to go in to find people to help get my stuff. This big box companies need to do better with their employees I'm sick of waiting a long time for help to come . Absolutely ridiculous now on top of not getting my item for over 35 mins they talking about they can't find it I'm so over this store. Very bad service after talking to a manager because they were to busy to come out they send an employee out to tell me they can't find my order it's crazy. I bet lowes wouldn't do this

I bought a Traeger smoker from home depot. They had 3 models on the floor. 2 of them were badly dented, the 3rd had a bunch of scratches. They told us we could have a new one in a box delivered to us so that's the option we took. A few days later, the truck came out and delivered our smoker. *IT WAS THE SCRATCHED ONE FROM THE SHOWROOM*. I told this to the delivery guys and they said that home depot would probably knock $50 off and they would note it so that when I called in, I could get my discount. After they left, I checked the smoker in detail and discovered it was missing the upper grate, probes, bucket and tools. I called home depot to see if I could get some money back and get replacement tools. They said "No" and that someone would come pick the unit up and replace it with a new one in a box. The delivery day came and went and they never showed up. I called them and they had no record of my call or the scheduled appointment for pickup/replacement. I went back up to the store and they said that the person who I spoke to did not properly complete the return and re-delivery but that they would take care of it. On the day of the new delivery, I called them and was told that someone would pick up the smoker and someone else would deliver the new one. Late in the afternoon, they came and picked up the smoker. I called them back and asked about getting the delivery of the new one. I was told that they had no record of that and if I wanted a new one, I would have to come in and purchase a new one. The next day, I called and asked about my refund. They told me it would be processed in the next hour and to call back if I hadn't gotten something in my email. 2 hours later, I called and they said that they couldn't refund me because it was purchased on a gift card and that I would have to come in. I told them I was looking at the receipt and it clearly said Chase/Visa and had the last 4 of my credit card. They apologized for the inconvenience and said that if I came in that day, I would get a $75 gift card. I went in to the store and spoke to the manager who told me the woman I spoke to had gone home for the day and there was no record of a gift card and he doesn't believe in "he said, she said" so he could not give me a gift card. He finally refunded me and asked if I wanted to purchase another one. I informed him I already had - FROM ACE HARDWARE. I will never purchase anything from the cleveland heights home depot again that has to be delivered.

I would leave no stars if I could. Bought an appliance in store after showing them my set up via pictures. Waited two weeks. Delivery shows up, won't disconnect anything or set anything up when I paid for install and takeaway. They said it had something to do with my vent. When I asked them to stop what they were doing so I could call the customer hotline for deliveries to see if the issue could be remedied, they got huffy and started removing my new appliance stating they didn't have time for this. I was trying to figure out what was going on and why services were not being provided. I couldnt accept an appliance they wouldnt install or test as part of the payments I made. They were pissed and called me names as i begged them not to take my appliance and wait for a resolution. Everything was caught on my ring camera. Just really in disbelief that they lied to dispatch and said I was the problem when I was just trying to figure things out. Manager in store said they couldn't install because of how my split level is vented. He said he didn't want to work with me due to the notes the delivery guys wrote even after I showed him the videos and pictures. Traumatized.

Truly the worst store in the area. Abysmally bad customer service, often with employees standing around three or four in a group socializing, or checking their phones and ignoring customers. How has it gotten this bad?

Ordered kitchen cabinets tried 3 times to replace damaged cabinets cracked on corner hinge side with no luck.Set kitchen install back months could not get cabinets undamaged will never order cabinets from here again trying to get refund.

Except for the one very very tall guy, the staff does not really help at all at this location. They do not have the widest selection of large appliances and there are not any good deals on anything. We go to it for proximity and that's about it.

Do not buy appliances from this company if you want them to be installed or old appliances hauled away! They use 3rd party companies who are the WORST!!! Two appointments later for install & removal of old appliances & currently only have one of the 3 appliances actually installed that I purchased. Currently have an old refrigerator with no doors sitting in the middle of my kitchen blocking my sink & stove!

This one star applies to installation (or lack thereof) of a dishwasher that we purchased from Home Depot. Specifically, Home Depot's dishwasher installation policies. My husband bought a dishwasher from the Highland Heights, Ohio Home Depot store, including installation and haul away. When the crew arrived (on time!) on our appointed day, they took one look at our kitchen and said "problem." While our dishwasher is technically next to the sink, it's around a corner (note: we have a small kitchen- you can touch the dishwasher while standing at the sink without stretching) HD does not allow its installers to install anything that isn't directly next to the sink- same side- nor do they allow their installers to access the basement to access a water line, or do anything outside of very narrow parameters. When I contacted our plumber to see if he could help us, he confirmed this understanding of HD's policies, and said that he gets lots of calls from customers who tried having HD install a new dishwasher, were denied, and then they call him. Thankfully, we will be refunded the installation and haul away costs, but I will be washing family dishes for another week until we can have someone else do what we had assumed Home Depot would do- which is disappointing. Had I known, I would have called our plumber last week. HOME DEPOT: if dishwasher installations are an issue, then stop selling the service!!!

The employees at this store are rude and incompetent. Go to one of their other stores or to a local hardware store. It needs new management and a trained staff.

Gupta is the man! He helped us solve an issue with a broken closet wall mount. We walked out with a mount that was a bit larger than the original, but took his advice and purchased electrical tape to manage filling the gap. This guy is awesome and shared a little personal wisdom as we walked around the store solving our issue. Give this man a raise - he deserves it!

If I could give 0 stars or even negative scores I would. I ordered a washer/dryer. They scheduled delivery for 6/4. The delivery men called at 11:11 and stated they were 20min away. They "showed up" at 11:17 and stated they knocked on the door (my dog didn't bark and she freaks out when the wind blows by the house). I have a Google nest doorbell and no notification sent to my phone. They left even though my kid was at the door to open it and my husband saw them at the corner. We called them and the delivery guy proceeded to be rude and disrespectful and hung up on us then wrote notes that he waited for 20min. I called customer service and they had the nerve to reschedule me 12 days later with no exception or apology just "the standard de-escalation phrases" of "we apologize for your inconvenience" and "I'm sorry to hear that". So now our family has to wait 12 days for no reason. I'll never place a delivery with this horrendous company again.

I ordered 2 doors to be put in. Ordered in March. September 16 the guy came out. Said he could not install either. I have tried and tried to get a refund. I cannot get anyone at the store to answer. Nobody calls back. I paid $1000 and have no idea where the doors are either. Awful place. I call and ask for a manager and I get voicemail for someone else.

This place is very hit or miss. Sometimes they have nothing and the staff is apathetic and downright rude. Other times the staff goes above and beyond to help you find what you need. I'll focus on the people who go above and beyond and just remove one star for the less stellar employees. I just bought a house so I'm in this Home Depot All. The. Time. If you like house plants, they have a decent selection even in the winter! Oh one more thing - curbside delivery is ridiculous. It's slow and inaccurate, in my experience.

A standard HD. Huge, lots of different items. I went for cleaning supplies and a carbon monoxide detector. Cleaning supplies were, as you might expect, a bit sparse, especially for gloves, paper towels, etc. They did have plenty of sanitizer-type products. Detectors were a different matter: I had a dozen options, at various price points.Service was okay, a little surly (but then it was early and I was undercaffeinated as well.) Prices are fair. Handy in this area, with the Dave's nearby too.

The garden staff was so unprofessional towards me. I went to buy a snow blower and was directed to gardens for help. The two men in that department told me the couldn't help and go find someone else. I was so shocked and disappointed that I walked out. I will never shop in this store again.
