Karlon and everyone at Alpha and Omega really out there best foot forward with our dog Nova. She was having initial issues of distraction and focus (along with high energy) when we first brought her home.After the assessment Karlon went well out of his way to really understand not only our need but to understand Nova and how best to help her.Through the sessions we say great progress after the first full session. And with practice Nova has really settled in.Karlon is flexible and understanding when it come to time changes and communication.

What can I say?!?! Karlon is the man!!!!! He is by far the best dog trainer I’ve ever met!!!! Our puppy is 7 months old and we hardly ever have to use a leash! I would highly recommend karlon to anyone!!!!!

Training with Karlon turned out to be the best decision we made for ourselves and our three year old Hound mix, Hendricks. When we first rescued Hendricks he had been in and out of shelters and rescues for a few months, and was really needing structure and stability, as well as some obedience and behavioral modification. We tried PetsMart training and that was a mistake, certainly not the best option for people dealing with issues like biting and reactivity. The constant throwing of treats and letting them run the show might work for some dogs but it definitely didn't work for our more dominant-natured dog. So after that, we came to Alpha and Omega. The difference after working with Karlon is night and day! Karlon is always so calm and controlled when working with us and our pup, and we couldn't be more thankful for all his guidance. Hendricks was definitely acting out before because he needed us to take the lead and Karlon showed us how to do it! Hendricks is now sitting, staying, heeling and walking on leash like a pro, "leaving it" and holding spot whenever needed, especially when guests first arrive instead of jumping up at and nipping at them. And he is so happy!! He loves the structure and knowing what's expected of him, he is always smiling ear to ear. Best of all, Karlon helped us train Hendricks to understand that our kitty is OFF LIMITS and now we can finally have both our pets in the same room and the dog completely leaves the cat alone. We also have worked on his reactivity and now he can joyfully run around and play with our friend's dog. We even were able to take him on his first camping trip. We are beyond thankful for Karlon and all the work he's done with us. If you train your dogs the right way with the right trainer they will truly shine and live their best doggie life!!!

This was the best experience I could ever ask for! He literally change the behavior of my dog in one session although there’s still a lot of work to do, I cannot even begin to express the difference in Winston’s attitude. He was so kind and so calm while at the house and it is the best dog trainer that I have ever met. He literally changed our lives. I will be forever grateful

We are the proud owners of Bella, a mini Goldendoodle. Bella was a very sweet and loving puppy and did many things right. But my husband and I are retired and do a lot of RV travel, staying at campsites and visiting friends and family. For her safety and our peace of mind, we needed for her to obey important commands.I found Alpha and Omega online and reached out to them. Karlon came to our home for Bella’s evaluation. We were immediately struck by Karlon’s calm and caring demeanor, and by the way he gently interacted with Bella.We had struggled with Bella healing, on leash (and hadn’t even considered off leash at that time). But literally, within MINUTES, Karlon had Bella healing and he taught us how to have her do it as well.I could go on and on about our initial experience but in a nut shell, we opted for a one week board and train program . At 10 months old Bella stayed with Karlon at his home. And when she came back to us we were amazed at what she had learned and how absolutely well behaved she was.Karlon was sweet to send pictures and text messages during that one week stay. And he continued to provide positive training tools to reinforce all the wonderful behaviors once she was back home.Bella comes when called, the first time, every time. She stays in the ‘down’ position until released, even with our crazy grandchildren running around in front of her. She heals beautifully on lead and OFF lead. We think the greatest thing of all is that we believe we can trust her to listen and do the right thing. We recently spent one month at a campground in Florida and Bella was able to enjoy the stay without being tied to the trailer because she listened so well to all her commands. It was wonderful for all of us!We highly recommend Alpha and Omega and we want to send a special thanks to Karlon for the care and attention he provided to Bella and her crazy ‘parents’. And we appreciate how you still often check in on her. You rock, K!

AlphA and Omega Dog Training did exactly what they said they would do- they helped us build a safe, trusting relationship with our dog, Gus. He came from a high stress shelter with anxious tendencies and Karlon helped us understand his behavior to train him. Karlon changed our lives!! Gus walks without pulling and reacting to other dogs. He listens in the house and responds to "spot" and "down" without angst or a second command. We live our lives with peace of mind- we know we can trust Gus in the house and the car. We know Gus will listen to us in any and every situation. We are very happy with the outcome of our training and by far one of the best investments we've ever made. I highly recommend AlphA and Omega Dog Training!

We are extremely happy that we chose Alpha Omega. Our 5 year old Pit Bull was doing fine (or so we thought) until his 2 companions died and his behavior toward other animals became such that I was afraid to walk him without my husband. Karlon stepped in and showed us a lot, now his behavior is night and day. Some behaviors that we even thought were acceptable, we learned needed correcting. He just completed his first weekend away boarding which we were never able to do before. Would definitely recommend their services.

Very helpful!! I am out of the area that they service but the gentleman I spoke with appeared very knowledgeable. We discussed the targeted issues and he kindly took ten minutes to talk with me. He provided some useful tips that I’ll certainly implement. I wish I was closer because I would definitely utilize their services. Stellar customer service!

Our dog was completely controlling our lives. He whined until he was fed or played with, leash pulling made walks miserable and barking/dog reactivity made it impossible to ever see other dogs in our vicinity. After just a few lessons with Karlon we started to understand that establishing expectations for our dog was the best way to make our family functional again. Training with praise instead of treats makes things so much easier (no more pockets full of biscuit crumbs) and more functional (driving while administering treats = safety hazard). After our sessions our dog is able to chase squirrels off leash and recall immediately.I didn’t love the use of the shock collar but I now understand it as a useful training tool to create safe guards in certain situations ( dog fights, running into traffic when off leash). The training is expensive but we see it as an investment as now we have the tools to train other dogs we rescue.Karlon is an amazing trainer for our dog and a teacher for us. He demonstrated professionalism every session and kept regular contact as promised. We look forward to even more training in the future!

So worth it. Starting off with training as soon as we got our puppy has definitely been the best decision. Of course, it’s as much about training us as it is the dog! Both Jay and Jamie have been great. Usually Jay answers our questions before we even get to them. Patience, consistency and confidence has been necessary for success, and they have done everything to reinforce this throughout our sessions. They stress that we reach out with any questions and are always prompt with responding. Thank you for helping to set us up for a lifetime of enjoying our well-trained and well-balanced dog!

Jay Is 100% the best trainer! From the very first phone call speaking with Karlon to the first lesson with Jay, these two men display professionalism and kindness. We called Alpha Omega because our 6 year old Pitbull was showing signs of aggression after is sister passed away. We participated in the board and train with our 3 month old cattle dog Penny, she was very nippy and barked excessively. After just a 5 day board and train she came back sweet and obedient. I recommend them to all my friends and family ?
