I had the absolute best experience! I scheduled an appointment with Wendy's for 10am on a Saturday. They promptly opened the doors, escorted us in and told us the layout of the store and all their great deals. I worked with a wonderful lady named Barbara. She was an absolute dream. She helped me pick out the best features of the dresses I liked (did I like the sleeves, the lace, the fabric, etc) and would tailor the selection of dresses I tried on based on what I liked. She also kept me in budget and helped accessorize. She made me feel good about myself and shed a tear with me and my family when I found the one. I never felt rushed. I always felt wonderful and I love that she kept me within budget! My heart goes out to any bride who had a negative experience here. I honestly would chalk it up as an outlier. Their selection is spectacular! Their staff is very polite and friendly. Barbara was an absolute pleasure to work with and the seamtress, Tammy, was very pleasant also. I am beyond excited to marry the love of my life but wedding planning has been ridiculously stressful for me so this wedding dress experience brought back the excitement of my wedding day.

I said yes to the dress! The staff here were absolutely wonderful to work with and made finding a dress more enjoyable. Definitely recommend for any bride any size!

Terrible experience!!! I can’t even give this a one star. I had an appointment for my first ever try on of wedding dresses. I showed a picture of what I wanted and was told “we have nothing like that” that if I wanted to look around I can. I was offered NO help not even let’s try a couple and see…. It was the worst experience and I hope no one else has the same experience I did. I’m so glad I went to reading bridal they were amazing

We found Wendy’s on Facebook for a sale! We live in Indiana and made a vary far drive out there! Our appt was at 3:30 and was giving a side room with plus size dresses. The dress were nice and we started to put them on. In the middle of my appt a client that left came back in to try a dress on. All focus was off my appt. After going back to our room my consultant grabbed another dress to put on me. But then another consultant took it just as I was asking to try that on next. But couldn’t because someone else took it from my rack. After that I tried in a dress I kinda liked and ended up leaving after my consultant told me they where busy from people showing up late to there appt. Was disappointed on how I was treated and how my appt went maybe next time I would be a good idea I tell brides that there will be double booking or little staff there.

Reading the comments I see a lot of plus size women all have similar experiences to mine, which is disappointing. My consultant (I think her name was Michelle) rushed me through my appointment, she informed me of how dresses wouldn’t fit me (which I am aware of). I think I spent a total of 20 minutes in the shop and my consultant let me know someone had called off so they were short (which I am very understanding of, but I still booked my appt in advance) After trying on my last dress my consultant disappeared to go help someone else without even explaining the process, what she’d write down or anything. I loved the dress I tried on (which is why I’m giving 2 stars) and really considered buying it but with poor treatment I couldn’t allow myself to spend money in a place like that. Whats more unfortunate is that I had plans and was even excited to attend the bridal show the next day. But again I can’t imagine myself spending time or money there either all because of the poor treatment I received.Please consider your plus size customers the same way you do your regular size customers. We get it, we know some dresses may not fit correctly, but it’s a special day for us…. We don’t need to continuously hear it while trying to feel beautiful. Please do better!

Today I had the best experience dress shopping. I'm plus sized so it's a little difficult for me to find something I like that will actually fit. Jenn helped me find the dress of my dreams and she was so nice. 100% recommend going here if you're looking for a wedding dress.

Wendy's was the 3rd store in our day of dress shopping yesterday. 1st stop was great, & our 2nd stop was absolutely horrible. So by the time we got to Wendy's, I was a little frustrated and was worried how this appointment was going to go. We were a bit early, so we asked if we could look at their bridesmaid dresses. Michelle was still in her previous appointment, but said to look around & she'd be with us soon. From start to finish this was a fantastic experience. Once we started looking at bridal dresses, Michelle walked us through how everything was organized & we started pulling dresses. I was telling her about a dress I had really liked at our 1st stop of the day & she was extremely helpful in helping me find dresses similar in concept. She made the entire experience that much better by providing her assistance & taking her time with us. She wasn't pushy at all. She seemed to genuinely care, as she asked alot of questions about our wedding plans so far. Never did I feel like I didn't "belong there" as I had felt at our 2nd stop of the day. My 4 bridesmaids, finance's Mom, & my Mom all agreed that this was an amazing experience. The selection of dresses in my size range (20-24) was alot more than expected, based on what I had heard from others. I ended up finding my perfect dress here. I hope Michelle gets to see this review, as she truly helped turn a marginal day into an amazing one!

They were super nice while I was trying on dresses helped me find "the one." However, I wish that they had been more helpful in getting me to order the correctly sized dress. My dress is at least a size too big, and I'm going to have to spend upwards of $900 on all of my alterations. I always knew that I was going to have to get some alterations, but I'm disappointed that I have to spend so much because the dress that I ordered is so big on me.
