My father passed away recently and we chose Walker to handle his service. I have nothing but gratitude for them. Everyone was so nice and accommodating and respectful of our loss. I can’t remember everyone’s names but AJ was our funeral director and he was great. The obituary and slideshow were awesome. Charles was awesome as was everyone at the Gilbert location. The guy who got him ready for the service did a great job and was so awesome during the viewing and explained what he did to get him ready. His service went on without any issues including the guys in the parking lot making sure things were in order! Thank you again. Sharla for the family of Wayne Payne!

I wanna start off by Thanking Mr.Walker and Mr.Charles for helping my family out at this desperate time of needs we was out for 4 days trynna raise the money for my granny they worked with us and also provided us with flowers and other necessities that we needed?and they didn’t even have too but they did and I appreciate them so much it was a scary sight Thank you all from the Solomon family .

In the beginning I thought they were cheating us because the prepaid burial plan did not cover several items and it was not all clear. But after reviewing everything in detail I saw they were being honest.As time went on I realized how responsive Dawn was in regard to phone calls and being available to talk about funeral planning details.Later when I saw my father in the coffin I was amazed at how good he looked. Died looking 91 but in the coffin he looked 10 years younger and almost alive. I guess he was coated in hard wax but I guess that’s how it’s done and it looked 100% natural. This was more than 2 weeks after my dear and loved father’s soul left his body so that’s impressive.The limousine drivers were not just drivers but seemed like gentle, patient, and compassionate people who understood what we were going through.No service will be perfect, but I have no complaints about walker funeral home.

Walker Funeral Home (Gilbert location), I had the distinct pleasure of working with Mr. James Sutton to take care of my dad's funeral arrangements. He was very professional, responsive to calls and emails. He captured the vision for our dad's life and it made the planning process so much easier. All in all Walker Funeral Home did an excellent job on my dad's body and once all of the arrangements were in place, Mr. Sutton personally transported/accompanied my dad to his home town Detroit, Michigan to the next funeral home. This was a great personal touch that truly took the extra stress off our plate. Dad had the greatest home going Celebration and the "Service Man" theme was absolutely perfect. The tapestry blankets were a touch of class as well. Thanks James Sutton and the entire Walker Funeral Home staff for taking us the last mile of the way. Peace and Blessings ?

Our family highly recommend Walker Funeral Home. Our family and loved ones were really cared for. Our loved ones were definitely in good hands at Walker Funeral Home and with that being said it took alot off of us during our time of bereavement. All the staff were kind, pleasant, professional, patient, helpful, and empathetic during our most difficult time. They are truly amazing! You can't get better service anywhere else. I guarantee it!

Hello Walker Funeral Home Team,I wanted to thank you for the professionalism of your team upon the loss of my aunt. Her service today, December 29th, was efficient and thoughtful. I wanted to take special note of a young woman named Jessica who served as a funeral director. Not only was she exceedingly kind for our family, while we were leading the burial site, my mother and I caught her fixing a floral arrangement on a random headstone before she headed back to work. Mr. James Sutton and the team of professionals at WFH are amazing. In less than one week our mother's arrangements were made with the upmost respect and honor. Mr. Sutton not only worked around our schedule, but he took care of everything he could and made sure that we felt comforted throughout the entire process. We are forever grateful for the service received from WFH. They are truly experts in the field of funeral services.

Mixed review here... Mrs. Dawn at Mt. Healthy made things very easy for my family during the planning process. When it was time for my mom's hair to be done the ball was dropped. I set up an appointment with Walker to have my mom's beautician go to the Gilbert Ave location to do her hair prior to the family preview. To our surprise when she arrive my mom's hair was already done. They allowed her to go and view the style that was to my mom's hair which was fine but upon her viewing she noticed that my mom's nail were very sloppily polished, some weren't even polished and her make up was 10 shades too dark. I addressed my concerns with Jessie and Nasir. Nasir was very very nasty and uncompassionate. All he cared about was why her beautician/ family member sent the picture, never once apologizing! The funeral business isn't for the uncompassionate and Nasir is definitely in the wrong business.

I have used Walker Funeral Home for three of my loved ones. They've expressed extreme compassion, concern, and empathy to my needs and the process for burying a loved one. The staff at Walker was extremely accommodating, for one family members service it was raining and he came to the door to get me with an umbrella. After the service, I realized I left my keys in the house he waited until someone arrived with my spare key. Again, I appreciate their patience, care, and concern.Thank you!

Losing our mom was the hardest challenge we’ve faced. The staff at Walker treated us like family making it easier to get through the process. I hope you never have to experience a loss but if you do, we highly recommend Walker.

Walker did an amazing job with the layout, the presentation of my husbands body, the flowers , the obituary and family gifts. My favorite was the blanket and memorial video. I will continue to use Walker Funeral home services in the future. They have after care services available that will benefit a grieving family and I am to use them.
