Since Memorial Day 2024 I stopped getting mail on a regular basis. For 6 years we got our mail from 10-11 am 6 days a week without any issues. Now our mail comes from 3-5 pm with more days without mail than ever before. My Informed Delivery says I'm supposed to receive mail but most days it's wrong. This has only started happening since Memorial Day 2024. Getting answers from a human being is like getting a liberal to tell the truth while breathing. I just want to know what the hell is going on with My Mail in Deer Park!

They left a card saying they tried to deliver a letter but I was home all day they didn't try to deliver anything.

This location has some wonderful employees. Bee knows me by name and is always friendly and efficient. The employees apologize if you have to wait, and do their best to help all the customers.

Don’t go to this post office, the lady working at the time was rude and irritated, she refused to let me use six inches of tape to repackage my box to ship and told me to buy tape, the lady was acting like the tape was coming out of her paycheck.

The employees need to stop parking in the back of the building where everyone has to drive through after using the drop box. It is not big enough for people to park there and for other vehicles to make it through. There are plenty of other places made for parking. It's just lazy and inconsiderate.

I'd be in no great rush to return here.I was nearby running errands yesterday & had some items to mail, so I thought I'd drop them off. With nothing else to do at the time, I arrived abou 20 minutes before opening & found a parking space.Until I got yelled at by an employee. "You can't park here!" More stunned than upset by this claim, I asked why not. She claimed it was postal employee parking. I asked her where customer parking was & drove to a space about 6 feet away.Now, where I had parked initially was a line of spaces toward the rear of the main lot, steps away from a sign that says customer parking. There's no indication anywhere of her claim that it's employee parking. But, as I was mailing some expensive items & have minimal trust in post office employees as it is given some unfortunate recent experiences, I didn't want to set her off & then have to deal with the woman at the counter. So I kept quiet.When they opened a short time later, I went inside. As others have noted, there's frustratingly no self-service machine. Nor do they make much effort to make what is available to customers accessible (there's a separate section with mailing supplies & things that's locked up). While I was first to arrive, I had chilled in my car because Sirius XM was playing one of my favorite '80s jams, so by the time that tune ended, there were 3 or 4 people in line ahead of me. One was there to complain about mail that he was expecting that kept bouncing around their system. While my sympathies were with the man on listening to him relay his account of the situation, the woman behind the counter (a different one) tried to shift the blame onto him, which felt supremely shady to the point of diabolical.As I was next in line, all I could do was nod at her & move on.Sometimes I feel it's the customers who should be "going postal," given the way we & are mail are treated & the insanely high cost of doing business with the USPS on top of that.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I have received awesome customer service each and every time. I stop in at least once a week for the past year to pick up packages. I have interacted with three women employees and they are professional, kind, and efficient. Thank you for the awesome customer service and efficiency, I greatly appreciate it.
