Absolutely awful experience. Received a truck loan through them and have tried to ask questions and pay off the loan early and cannot get anyone to call us back or answer our calls/emails. Awful customer service and their online portal is absolutely abysmal. Do not use this credit union.

Calling Christian Family Credit Union is a great experience. A real person answers the phone and quickly addresses my specific question. Different than most everywhere else, I don't have to play 20 questions with a computer - a most refreshing change!

I've been a member of this Credit Union since I was a teen ager more than 50 years ago. I have financed cars, college educations, credit cards, and other signature loans. I appreciate the personal attention I receive when I call with a problem.

I absolutely love everything about this financial institution. Actually, I love it so much I recently applied and started my new career here. The employees are fabulous, the CEO is amazing and our message is on point. We truly are the hands and feet of Jesus, doing His work on Earth.Faith, Fellowship and Finance. I did an auto loan with Terry and it was easy and great rates too! He took the time to go over my credit report with me and any question I had. I would recommend Terry at Christian Family for any of your lending needs.

When I opened my membership, I did not fully understand the difference between a credit union and a bank (where I was coming from.) Once a member, I began to not only see that difference and how vast it truly was, but also how different Christian Family Credit Union is from other community credit unions. Great variety of saving and lending options!

I love my Credit Union !!!! Small enough to still answer the phone with a local employee but also gives me access to top notch electronic banking needs like mobile app, mobile check deposits and mobile transfers.

If you're a TRUE Christian save your money and just do cash! I say this because I was getting ready to apply for membership and I had to backtrack because it asked me for my gender!! And I had to take a double look because this is what I thought a Christian place I could bank, but when it asked me if I was a male, female, or other then I had to stop!! I suggest true Christians know banks are going under and there are ways to pay your bills than a bank! Trust that the Lord will provide and then there's a way! You CAN'T confirm to the World (James 4:4), and MUST grow a backbone (Revelation 21:8), so yes, run far away from here. Even if they say the third party page they might not believe in, they ALLOW it, so you are who you hang around, and if there's an other gender option, I will opt out, thanks but no thanks! If someone who is a true Christian a member here, I suggest opting out otherwise you are who you hang around!

My wife and I are Catholic members of Christian Family Credit Union and we could NOT be happier with the service we received when we opened our membership account. Terry was our loan officer when we decided to purchase our first home. From start to finish, he was very professional and his knowledge on the process was solid!

Disappointed is an understatement. Tried to open a HELOC and get pre-approved on a second mortgage (rental property). I explained that I wanted to use the same lender for both as to simplify the process; they assured me they could do both. So I applied and was approved on a HELOC but they said they didn’t offer a second mortgage option. This was extremely frustrating as it was a hard pull on my credit history.The next issue arose when they then put the max amount of my HELOC in my account when I never requested it. I was not going to borrow against my line of credit until the cash was needed. I immediately reached out when I received a statement for interest owed and asked for everything to be reversed and fees waived. I was told that it would be corrected and made right....of course it was not. This and fees that should have been completely avoided/waived by CFCU carried on for way too long so I shut down my account. For this to happen at a Christian affiliated establishment is deeply disappointing as I saught then out strictly because of what I thought would be good business practices and faithfulness.I would recommend avoiding at all costs.

I am happy that I went with them. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain things very well. I do wish that certain people would get back in touch with you when they promise too. But I would use them again.
