A friend of ours referred an individual who works for this company to us to help with a repair of a fridge. I was told by our friend that they had a great experience with this person at Tri-State Appliance Repair. When I called the first time I was told that the individual won't be in till after 1 PM that day. I called back after 1 PM and I was told he won't be in today because he is golfing and will be in after 11 AM the next day. I called the next day after 11 AM and I was told that he isn't in today. I told the individual that I have called 3 times and each time I get a different story. The representative from the company then said, and I quote, "He is the CEO of the company and he can whatever he wants!"

I’ve purchased numerous appliances from this company over the past 60 days. Several stopped working. They stated they have a warranty. I’ve called everyday for the past 3 weeks and have gotten the same man, Tommy, on the phone. Daily I’m given a different excuse about the owner, Mark, who is the only one that does the service calls being unavailable. For several days Tommy told me Mark was out of town, then playing golf, then eating next door, then to call back in an hour or five minutes. Tommy have scheduled service appointments with me only for no one to show and when I call I’m told the owner is out and he has to speak with him. I’ll never purchase another item from this company as they have sold me items that do not work and they refuse to repair or return them.

Bait and switch! I selected a used washing machine in the store, but a different (rusty, older) washer was delivered.After my protest, a newer model was delivered, but that one failed to wash even one load before malfunctioning. The salesman took my daily calls, but I'm still sitting here with a broken washer full of water and clothes, several days after my cash purchase.Risky business!!! Better Business Bureau notified.

On Monday November 27th,2023 I placed a phone call to Tri State Appliance asking if I could schedule a repair on my clothes washer. The male I spoke to advised that he could have some come on November 30th at an unknown time. I advised that would be fine so I took the day off of work to wait for the service person to arrive. On November 30th I waited and waited and still no servicer person so I called at 5:30 pm and spoke to a male asking if the servicer person was going to show up. The male on the phone advised that the servicer person is a contractor and he has no knowledge of his schedule and he was unable to help me. Today as of this review December 3, 2023 I still never heard from the service person. So my advise is do not use this company they have horrible customer service.

This is my SECOND time buying faulty appliances from this place! The first time it was an electric LG dryer that started acting wonky after 30days.. they were supposed to get somebody to come check it out NEVER DID. I wind up moving so I got rid of the set… this new set is MAYTAG CENTENNIAL && I just got it in January so a full year has NOT even passed &’ the washing machine has WENT OUT! I’ve been calling for weeks and getting the run around on the guy coming to check out the washer! I was just told 8/31 that the guy was going to come 9/1 && still NOONE CALLED OR CAME (& it’s $65 for them to even come check it out so it’s not like their time isn’t being compensated ) I’ve been calling calling and calling… oh && the lady I talked to 8/31 admitting told me it looked like she forgot to write my info down but she remembered me previously calling!! I would NOT recommend && I will NOT be getting anymore used appliances from them!! Also they can only fix “certain@ brands yet they sale them all after fixing them? That doesn’t make sense but OKAY.. STRAY AWAY from this place you will be replacing the appliances sooner then later! May as well buy NEW

Don't bother with this place. It uses an automated answering system. If you're not in their service area it will cut you off. I was looking for appliance parts before the Fourth of July and needed an icemaker for my moms fridge. I was checking to see if they had parts but since they didn't answer I will never know. Guess we'll order online and my nephew can replace it for them. I wonder how big their service area actually is since we we were less than 30 miles away?

If I could rate this place a 0 star I would we specifically ordered a dryer they delivered a washer. The drivers get to our house and we told them the order was wrong they were super unprofessional swearing and mad at us for a mistake their own boss made. I called back and reordered and the no called no showed the next day. I guess this company doesn't want to sell any of their inventory? It makes no sense.

They may be a little more expensive but always have the part for my washer and Dryers in stock if not will get it for you fast Quick counter service also

What a great place to buy a used appliance! I've bought several here over the years and they always work great, are a clean as a new appliance, and delivered promptly. The delivery crew is are great and friendly folks who are extremely diligent and careful with the deliveries. I would never buy a new appliance (which typically break down after a few years) when I could have an older, reliable appliance that will give me years of service.

Ordered a fridge and stove for a rental property from these guys. Absolute joke of a “business.” Ordered on 10/25, was initially told it would be delivered 10/28. Wasn’t delivered. Called and he said they just had to clean the appliances and they’d be delivered on 10/31. Wasn’t delivered. Called and he told me it’d be delivered the next day. Wasn’t delivered. Called 3 days later and he said he would deliver that afternoon. You guessed it - wasn’t delivered! After that, he had an employee that left 1 month before and came back take my phone calls. Final phone call, this employee said they don’t know how to fix the fridge and I should look somewhere else. Mark is not a man of his word and lies about business. Super tough to work with. Stay away.

Very honorable and professional business. This is so hard to find these days. I have so much gratitude that I can trust their business. I had an issue with the washer and dryer that I had bought from them and the owner of the company immediately rectified it for me. I couldn’t be happier with the service. Dawn was also so pleasant to work with. I’d give more stars if I could.
