This place has huge rats in the walls and the fire alarm malfunctions so much the residents dont pay it any attention.

If 0 stars were possible that would be too many for this establishment. Where to start. The walls are paper thin and you can hear whatever your neighbors are talking about from the end of the hallway. Like having your car violated at your own home? Well they've got you covered as numerous cars have been broken into by having their windows busted right in the parking lot! My catalytic converter was stolen off my car. Speaking of the parking lot, there are crater sized potholes all over. The fire alarm will go off several times a week for no reason at all. And they want to rise rent! Roaches, mice, dirty needles, you name it! Absolutely disgusting building with absolutely terrible management. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to live here.

Picture below explains it all - minimal safety efforts in place to protect residents. Dirty needles in common areas, constant fire alarms, numerous car break ins and a huge roach issue are only some of the issues and reasons you shouldn't waste your money here.

If I could give zero stars I would. The main door into the building never locks and I have personally told them about it several times and nothings been done. Gotten texts from management saying people are in the building claiming they're duke energy and do not let them in. Which wouldn't happen if they actually cared about the safety of their residents. Then about a month in, my catalytic converter was stolen on my car which cost me about $2500 to replace. Then I was robbed. Yes ROBBED. Three men in my apartment, stole anything they could grab. Threw me to the ground. I requested to break my lease as I just don't feel safe in my own home now and they told me that it was not a justifiable excuse to break a lease. They avoid my calls to try and come up with a solution we're both okay with. Management doesn't care about their residents in any way. If anything breaks you'll never get it fixed. They just mark it as resolved on their end without ever coming so it just goes away for them. The apartments may look nice but I promise it's not worth it. I have yet to meet someone here that has absolutely anything good to say. I wish I would have done more researching before coming here.

HORRIBLE!! please do yourself a favor, do not live here. Management is TERRIBLE! Amanda and Claudio are awful and will not help at all. Lauren is the only one who has helped us through all of this, and unfortunately she began only 2 months before our leases were up. She is amazing, but everyone else is absolutely useless. There are mice and cockroaches all over the building, including in both mine and my boyfriends apartments. Constant very loud construction starting as early as 7am. My ceiling has fallen in THREE TIMES, and was never fixed properly. There is mold in the ceiling and water damage everywhere. My toilet did not work for over THREE MONTHS and was not fixed, and was only offered a $200 one time credit for three months of having no working bathroom. The power has gone out multiple times and took days to fix. Door locks never work on main door, so mail etc is always getting stolen, non residents in the building. overall not safe at all. multiple cars have been broken into/keyed etc. Laundry in unit didn't work my first 7 months of being here, now barely works to dry my clothes. Multiple of my things have been stolen out of the shared laundry room. This place is just horrible. Bad remodel and bad management. PLEASE do not put yourself through the trouble of moving in here.

I had a horrible experience living in Forum. The apartment was infested with cockroaches and mice. Even after several complaints, the management did nothing. Moreover, there was the horrible experience of the fire which started on the 7th floor of the east building in 2020. We were NOT treated with sympathy and after a few days, we were asked to vacate the apartment making me homeless. We were given a very short time to take our stuff out of the apartment while moving, because of which I had to leave many things like furniture behind. The management was not helpful at all. These guys do not even deserve 1 star.

The Good- The women upfront were always helpful, and the sunsets were always breath taking from my balcony. The Bad- For the second year I was there I had a cockroach infestation galore, my toilet screamed like a banshee for almost 6 months before it was fixed, the indoor pool they promoted was closed for the majority of the time I lived there. I had loud college kids above me who would play loud music until 3am and would stomp around loudly. I had a spot on the ceiling in the living room area that looked like the ceiling was going to cave in at any moment. Trash in the hallways often.I paid $805 for a 2 bed room, if they had lowered it to $508 I'd say that would have been a very fair trade. Also make you give a 60 day notice of moving out instead of 30 day notice. This is unheard of in any other place I've looked at in the past.

DONT MOVE HERE! After several months of living at The Heights do yourself a favor and don't be fooled into thinking renovations mean this is a nice place to live. I've experienced everything here from constant mice (still not resolved after 3 months), terrible unsafe parking lot where you can't find a spot after 9pm, trash all over the property and in and out of the building, difficult at times to do laundry as there's only one per floor, they also shut the water off weekly for repairs. This has been going on for 4-5 months. Sometimes there notice, sometimes there isn't and it may or may not be back on when they say. Most recently then overcharging my card an additional $1,360 over what was owed on rent. When I called I was told it was my fault, and there's nothing they can do for at least a week. I guess I don't need food in the meantime. Taylor in the leasing office is rude, condescending, and lacks basic customer service skills. I've seen her get rude with people in the office before and now making sure I know that this issue is not her problem. Instead of helping resolve the issue in a timely manner I was blown off once again. Fresh paint and flooring does not justify $1,300 a month and god forbid you need them to help you with anything quickly. Do yourself a favor and look anywhere else

I originally moved to the Forum apartments in March 2020. Cmc owned it then. Taylor Cook showed me the apartment and I moved in..Vg took over in Aug or Sept of 2020. From Sept to March I seen alot of people of color moving out. I thought because the rent went up, they wanted to move. Then I got a letter saying resign the lease or pay extra rent. I didn't have any where to go, so I resigned the lease and agreed to pay extra rent. They denied me. Never gave me a reason..I was never late on rent. Im glad that I moved maybe more of the people that got kicked out leave a review as well..

I had rented in this place when I was a college student. The apartment was OK, it's an old place lack of major matainance. The BIGGEST disappointment is that the ladies and the manager at the leasing office are not helpful at all. "No, we can't", "No, that's not our responsibility" are all they can say. Please show some respect to college students.

I’ve lived here for a little over a year. Ever since Village Green took over, I’ve noticed they have been working on some really needed updates.
Unfortunately there is always plumbing issues.
