If I could give -5 stars, I would . Erin, sunny, and myron are some of the rudest , most Ignorant, and unprofessional people I have ever met in my entire life. Erin literally told me that it was safe to eat food that has been expired for 2 years and these volunteers are some of the most ignorant and unprofessional people I have ever met. The way this place treats poor people is disgusting. They are constantly giving away food that is extremely expired & when I report it they start laughing. I even called to report this to the CEO and he never returned my call. Be mindful of getting food from these pantries ppl !!!! And CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES !!!! You're welcome

This facility is new and what a blessing to our entire community. The plaque about the Huberts who were donors tells the story of Faith throughout the generations and should inspire all of us to do more. As Catholics, we have the great treasure of how to make the world a much better place.

September 2019 by Mary Ellen F.
My sister-in-law and I are in the process of emptying our 90 year old aunt's home. She was a devout Catholic and always contributed to St. Vincent de Paul so when it was time to donate furnishings, clothing, appliances etc. that's who we chose. It's been an emotional and exhausting job, but a labor of love. I set up an appointment with St Vincent DePaul to have 25 bags of clothing, three chairs and a hide a bed picked up today. I was at the house at 8 AM, I was given a call that I was number 11 on their list. I waited patiently continuing to unload cupboards, closets and every nook and cranny of their home. When the truck arrived, I walked the two men through the house and showed them exactly what needed to be taken. They checked out the couch, opened up the mattress and pulled it away from the wall. All was ok. I was called back downstairs where they told me they would not be able to take the couch or anything in the house because supposedly there were mouse droppings on the floor. I did not have on my glasses and assumed they were telling me the truth. They said they could take nothing from the house because of what they saw and proceeded to leave. I was dumbfounded, and went downstairs with my glasses pulled out the couch myself and looked down because my aunts house was meticulously clean and I was shocked to think there might be mouse droppings. Lo and behold, they were just little basement bugs that we probably all have, i've always called them pill bugs. There was also a couple of flies and one wasp. I am so angry at this time because we were supposed to have all of this out of the house by September 10 and now no other organization can pick up this contribution during this time frame. I immediately called St Vincent DePaul and talked to the volunteer on the phone, I asked for her supervisor and was told he was coming in later. After about two hours I called again and I was told that they would not send the truck back. I asked if the supervisor was going to call me and she said no. I am upset, disappointed, but more importantly it breaks my heart to think of the beautiful clothes, winter coats, gloves, shoes, handbags, towels, sheets, comforters, and furniture that won't be available for someone that may really need it. SVDP may need to give their drivers a tutorial on what a mouse dropping really looks like .
