Cashier that was on duty at 2:30 pm today (younger guy) was great at his job and very patient with customers! He went above and beyond with the customer in front of me! Great job!!!

The only plus to this location are the very friendly staff. I've never had a bad experience with anyone who has worked there. Everything else is questionable. The exterior of the store is always dirty, the canopy over the pumps is rusting, dented, soot stained and very dirty. The trash cans are always overflowing outside. The pumps and grounds are dirty and the outdated pumps are usually out of receipt paper. The interior of the store is also usually cluttered and dirty. The coolers are half to three quarters stocked. The drink and slurpee area is often sticky and dirty. I feel like I have to shower after each visit. If it weren't for the staff, I'd give this dump 1 star. The owner should be ashamed.

I live right up the street so I come here often. lately it’s become too much hassle when the same cashier, Edward will not open his ears and listen to how much gas I ask for. Example: the other day I bought something for $2.88 ( I think it was a bottle of pop) Edward says the total to me and I replied I would also like to have $17.12 on pump 6. Instead he puts $17 on pump six and wants to give me $0.12 in change. I politely said “sir I asked for $17.12 on the gas pump”. he replies rudely, “you need to just tell me that you want the change one that pump” what? How about you open your ears and just put the correct amount that I asked for!? I’m not allowed to ask for a specific amount in gas since I know how to do math? if that’s the case can you not add what I asked for and realize that I’m asking for the exact amount that would equal $20? What ever, so I take my $0.12 and leave. Today I go back with another easy one. A super easy cash out. I had a $20 bill but knew I needed $2 for something later on that I planned to buy elsewhere. So I asked for $18 on pump 8. He rings me out for $15 and gives me a $5 bill back. Same guy. So I’m standing there and he gives me the $5 bill and I say “sir I asked for $18 so I could get $2 back in change” he rudely replies “you asked for $15!” No! I know what I asked for you just don’t listen to anything! So I’d rather go to shell or thortons up the street even if it’s a bit further away and a bit more expensive. Next time this employee gives me attitude he is going to get it back so I will just try to avoid this store from now on.
