I crashed my bike and it was in rough shape, so I braced myself in expectation that it was going to require some major work.
I brought it in about an hour after they opened, and 4 hours later they called and it was all good to go! I was extremely impressed with their turn around time, and the care they provided in breathing new life into my bike. Thank you all!

I stopped in here to see if they had replacement screws for a Schwinn. Although they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, they pulled out all their various bins of screws and spent time figuring out what would work.
I was surprised at the amount of time/effort that was put into helping me (I had never set foot in the shop befre). In the end, I was charged $2 for the screws I needed - obviously finding what I needed was an act of customer service vs making money.
I would have no hesitation bringing our bikes here in the future, as they obviously care about helping their customers!

My bikes had been moved twice and were in storage for a number of years. The bikes needed new tires and tubes, as well as new brakes and a new shifter. I took them in looking sad and dirty from storage. I received them back looking like new and everything worked! They turned these around in four days. It was a lot cheaper than buying new bikes. Thank you Smitty,s!! Best bike repair shop in Cincinnati.

I purchased a Fuji bike from Smitty's in the Spring. The staff were great to work with in terms of finding the right bike for me, allowing as many test rides as I needed to find the right fit. The bike arrived on time, but I quickly noticed a knocking sound as soon as I started riding, that progressively got worse. I finally dropped it off at the shop to get my free adjustments (for up to 12 months after purchase) and Matt was great to work with. He did some initial adjustments the same day, but I couldn't get back into the store for several more days. When I did, I still noticed the knocking sound. Matt spent over an hour with me, making adjustments, coming out to hear the sound and to make more. We finally found the root cause of the issue, which he replaced with a new part and no more sound! I know that Smitty's provides 12 free months of adjustments, but IMO Matt went over and above in diagnosing and fixing this issue for me to ensure I was completely satisfied with the product. Thanks!

I purchased a bike on June 12 from Brooklyn Bicycle Company and they shipped it to Smitty's to be professionally put together. I couldn't wait to get my bike, but they told me that it was peak season and that it could take 2-3 weeks to get it. I received a call from Smitty's on Saturday, the 17th, telling me that it was finished and that I could pick it up! It was 20 minutes before closing time and I live 45 minutes away, but they were SO nice and offered to wait for me to pick it up! They did a wonderful job on my bike and the service is top-notch! I would recommend Smitty's to all who are looking for any kind of repair, maintenance, or like me, someone to put a bike together from the ground up! They have nice accessories for your bike as well! I rate them 5 out of 5! Thank you, Smitty's for making my experience a great one!

Spoke with Gayle on the phone and told her that both of my shift cables were rusty and exposed from the casing...She told me to have them replaced was $6.99 each plus $10 labor.. Awesome! I said around $25 ballpark..She said yes!! I get to the store and price doubled within 2 minutes...I was very clear with her of what I needed and she seemed very knowledgeable.. Basically they get you to the store and the price balloons!! No thanks,waste of my time!!!

Matt worked on my 1973 Raleigh 3 speed when I was turned away by other shops locally. Rebuilt my hub and trued the wheels and replaced wheel bearings in very short time, like 2 days. Customer for as long as I am able to ride. Matt and Gail are the best, very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great bike shop with old style personalized service - the way bike shops were before the big corporate guys came about.They have time to talk about options, cycling in general and how you can accomplish your goal.They are good and fast at repairs and routine maintenance.I found my bike shop!
