The Self-Propelled Drive on my mower failed, so I brought it here for service. After the repair, I noticed that the drive worked, however it wasn't 100% of the normal momentum. Our property has many hills and it was very difficult to navigate them after the repair. I was sure it was simply an adjustment and since it was late in the season, I called and asked if they would do the adjustment in the spring during the annual tune-up. The employee I spoke with was very uncooperative and didn't seem to understand. I then typed a detailed letter addressed to the Manager/Owner explaining the issue. My correspondence was ignored, so I sent another letter to Ace Corporate. One week later, I received two hostile voicemails from either the manager or owner, who obviously knew nothing about the repair or the mower, yelling at me about the situation. He first said my initial letter was unclear and he didn't know what I wanted (False, I clearly indicated that I simply wanted an adjustment). He also said my mower was "old" and couldn't be repaired. (False again: It's a top of the line Toro and nowhere near "old"). He also claimed that I "wanted something for nothing" (Wrong again). So it turns out, the problem was an IMPROPERLY ADJUSTED DRIVE CABLE that took 60 SECONDS to fix! Whoever left the VM's (I still have them) was rude, abrasive and unprofessional. He was CLUELESS about this situation that involved a simple adjustment. Not your "Friendly Hardware Folk" they advertise. The good news is that I've found an excellent repair/maintenance resource and will be patronizing him from now on, as well as the rest of my neighborhood that's been going to this location. And I just mowed the lawn today and my "old" mower works great!!!!!!

Fair warning to anyone shopping at Ace Hardware, they are no longer honoring tagged prices. According to Taylor who would have rang me out today if I had not walked out, they are pricing at the register now. So be on the lookout for higher prices than what you expect once your items are scanned. I've been shopping there since it was still Parnell's 15 years ago and never had this problem, but I won't be shopping there any more as long as this policy is in place. I need to know how much I'm spending before I check out.

After we stopped by the Sayler Park coffee location, we stopped in here and we are so happy that we did. The staff is just downright awesome, and taught us a lot about anything from grilling to plants. Thank you guys for having such a wide variety of so much stuff, and for being so friendly!

Excellent hardware store. I purchased a few Stihl products from here and had others serviced. Very knowledgeable staff and technicians. I received quick reliable service.l every time I've been there. Full recommendation.

When you're involved in any type of project around the house or yard, this is the place to go both for advice on how to do it and for expert help in finding just what you need. Also get on their mailing list for coupons that give significant money off on purchases.

Poor experience, poor communication, poor outcome. Took our lawnmower for service 6 weeks ago. Waited 3 weeks, no call, text, email. When we called they said they tried to call because they wanted to confirm it was ok to order a part. No one ever called.Waited two more weeks, no call. When my husband called again he said “oh it’s ready”. Drove over there, paid for the service, and were then told “no, it’s actually not ready” but we’ll overnight the part, it’ll be ready in a week. Another week went by, no call. My husband called again, spoke to the owner who said he’d see it was done that day and call us back that afternoon, NO call back! Called the next day and a rude employee said “I don’t know why someone told you it would be ready, nobody was working in the shop yesterday”, my husband urged him to just CHECK to see if it was ready. Came back to the phone and said “yeah it’s ready” and hung up.My husband went, picked it up. Got home, it wouldn’t start. Took it right back, they quickly changed to fuel line & said “it’s good to go”. Got it home & guess what.. it doesn’t start!! $200, 6 weeks, and a lot of runaround for nothing. Don’t waste your time or money at this place. They were rude and disorganized. Whatever “system” they have for communicating with costumers doesn’t work!

I gave this establishment a 1 star due to poor service and the rudeness of their employee. I took my lawnmower there for a tune-up. This tune-up was done incorrectly, and although they eventually fixed it, it was not without several issues with pick-up and delivery and all around miscommunication. I called and asked for a refund and was told by your associate that "if I want a refund I can bring my mower back in and he will dull the blade and take out the oil then I can have my refund". Not only was this a rude comment, but it was also unprovoked and uncalled for. I feel like this establishment doesn't value their customers and the fact that this is the treatment I received speaks volumes. Now the associate did give me my money back for the delivery, although that is a start it doesn't negate the rudeness of his comment or the all around issues I had with the service to start with. I understand if you do not wish to provide a full refund, but also understand I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Every interaction I had from beginning to end was welcoming and warm. Eric at the front desk and the Tyler across the street made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. Friendly nice people. Highly recommended and will keep coming here.Please, keep up providing great service.

Called 2 hours before usual close time to ask if they had XYZ item: yes they do. Drive and arrive twenty tive minutes later to find a sign on the door that they were closing early. You'd think if someone called and asked if you had something, and you did but were closing in ten minutes (special for the Bengals game), you might mention that extremely important information?

Stopped in today looking for a specific YETI product and didn’t see it. Brandy went above and beyond to help me look and when we couldn’t find it. She ordered it for and will have it within a week. They also have the best propane refill deals in Cincinnati.
