The staff person was very helpful and knowledgeable about the hinges, lid support and wunderfil wood fill, however, she did not provide the 15% that was advertised for these products. She requested that if I could find the ad, rockler would give me the 15%. I called the store about 2 hours later and was told it had expired! I pointed out that the text I received from rockler that very morning specified that the sale did not end until midnight. At that point the salesman checked his texts and agreed that I was correct but that I would need to return to the store to get a refund. He said it was rockler policy not to do refunds over the phone. This will require another 20 mile trip! Also, the hinges I purchased although in identical packages had different size screws and in addition the screw count was inadequate!I got what I needed but it was overall a frustrating experience.

The newer Rockler store is a really nice modern store. Very helpful staff and they have a great selection. One thing that bugs me is Rockler often offers 20% off one purchased item specials online, but hardly ever in their stores. They use to have that 20% "in store" deal when the store was in it's original location. I miss that.UPDATE 2024 Rockler is back to doing discounts in store including the 20% off from time to time. Thanks!

Was looking for a specialty hinge. Assoon as I showed them the broken one, the lady associate knew they had it.

Love the gals and guys at the Cincinnati Rockler. They helped me figure out which dust collector to buy and it works great.

Had to order one item. If it shows up in the next day or two then it was a fine trip.

The Shark 100 Router is great so far. However, My Dad gave me this router which included the Vectric Software and it has been a very difficult process to transfer the software to another user. There's also a $50 transfer fee. Vectric has NOT been helpful and there also based in the UK. Sorry to knock Rockler for that, but that's where it was purchased from and I think it's important for Customers to be aware of this.

They have just about everything you would need for woodworking. The prices seem crazy high.

First time here. All the employeees were very friendly and helpful. Lots of woodworking supplies (more options than homedepot etc). Picked up a router table and some drawer slides.

In this age of easy access to anything that you could ever want from the internet, employees like your manager Amanda are exactly why retail stores still exist. I’ve been woodworking for many years but still learned a great deal from her advice this morning. This face to face support is why I make a point of buying as much of my woodworking supplies as I can from this store.

This is my husband's experience with Rockler...After deciding to buy a Festool Kapex Miter Saw for nearly $1600 I chose Rockler Woodworking and Hardware as they are a US-based company. I started the order process online. Their website said that the Festool Miter Saw was in stock. However, after several “tries” on the website, I called the online order phone line.I spoke to a very nice salesperson who confirmed the item was in stock and available on Wednesday morning. He stated that the item would ship the next day. After placing the order, I received a bank notification alerting me of the large purchase on my credit card and an email from Rockler with confirmation of the sale.On Thursday morning, I checked online and found my order status was the item was “Picked” but not yet shipped. This concerned me, but I thought I would check again later. On Friday morning (2 days later) I called Rockler to check on the order status, they were having computer issues and he said that he would need to check and call me back. He never called back. After waiting all day, I called at the end of the business day and spoke to a different person. They could only tell me that the Miter Saw was “picked” and awaiting shipment on Monday. I did not understand why it had not yet been shipped given that this in stock item was ordered 2 days earlier! On Monday I spoke with Rockler Sales again and now the story was that my Miter Saw was NOT SHIPPED and on backorder.During all the calls the Rockler staff was understanding of my frustration with this changing story, but not willing to do anything to make it right. I cancelled the order! This lack of customer support has changed my opinion of Rockler Woodworking and Hardware! I will now be shopping elsewhere.

Came in the store today because I had to grab a quick item. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also had the item in stock which was also great. I had to browse the lumber section looking at all the possible projects I want to do. It's like a candy store.

Ok. I get it, it's 2022 and decent help is hard to find. But this place is shameful. Just like it's nearby cousin (Woodcraft), it's staffed with people who would rather sit around and chew the fat with each other than pay attention and help customers. I've seen this numerous times , but today took the cake. I was looking at drawer slides for probably 15 minutes, it was a weekday with almost no one in the store, and no one asked to help. Then, I went to the router bit case. I found one I was going to buy and tried to get the attention of one of the 3 "employees" that were sitting near the register. It took a while for one to finally notice me, even though I was standing within 10 feet of them. One signaled to another to pay attention to me, but he just kept talking. I waited a few seconds and then just decided they didn't deserve my money, put down the drawer slides I was going to buy, and just walked out. I was the only person in the store, but they couldn't care to help. In the ongoing battle between online and keeping brick and mortar stores alive, these guys are losing.

Good selection of specialty wood, but priced on the high side. They also carry just about anything else you may need for woodworking. I bought a Porter-Cable power 5" oscillating orbital sander for $50 which is a decent price for that model. Easy to find and lots of parking across from Tri-County Mall on Kemper Rd. They have a good return policy and the salespeople are knowledgable and friendly.
