We ordered the Christmas ham meal a week ago. Today I picked up the meal. It was 3 pound ham and not what we ordered 5 lb. One mash potato and not what we ordered 2 lb. We definitely miss deli manager Christian. I always give 5 stars. Not this time.

The staff at this Kroger's are notably unconcerned about customer service. They stand around talking to each other, badmouthing customers, and/or looking at their phones. There doesn't seem to be much management either. On the few occasions when I have tried to be constructive in my feedback to a manager I felt as though I were talking to a wall. The work ethic at this place is abysmal overall. The pharmacy department, although fairly courteous and fairly well organized is the slowest Pharmacy I have ever seen. And what's with the fact that you still can't drop off your prescription or pick it up outside? What about those of us who are disabled, and for whom it is difficult to park a car and get inside?

I'm pretty sure they could double the size of this Kroger and it would still be a zoo. Granted we came on a Sunday afternoon, but still...we could barely make our way through the store without bumping into people. Doesn't help that the store layout is not designed for flow but rather to cram as much stuff into the place. I'm guessing it was design by the same person who did the layout of the parking lot...also a mess. They were out of several produce items and couldn't keep up with stocking, so we eventually just put everything back and left for a different location. Save yourself the stress and do the same.

My main complaint has to do with the pharmacy. My surgeon called in pain medication the day I had surgery and it wasn't available for 24 hours. He called in a refill at followup 10 days later to a DIFFERENT pharmacy, and it was ready within 30 minutes. It's a good store for groceries, though the layout of the store has me baffled.

Kroger Hyde Park is selling expired covid tests. Bought two kits (iHealth) and they both had an expiration date of 07/20/2022. I will report back if I get a refund. see pictures below.

Things seem to continue to slide downhill at the Hyde Park Kroger. What was once (what I considered) the best Kroger in the area is slowly joining the ranks of nearby stores. Trashy, never enough open lines, and poor customer service across the board. Please don't say 'short staffed' as I observed 3-4 employees collecting carts spend 20-30 minutes to move 20 carts into the store. All were at or near all the trash, and aware. Half that time spent on cell phones, and goofing off. Have fun at work, but without management guidance this will not change. Seen more of the same with cashiers and baggers (when there is one) on cell phones, and paying little or no attention to customer service.

It took me a bit to orient myself having never been to this location before & looking for something as random as I was (Ghostbusters themed lottery tickets), but once I did, I was pretty impressed with how clean, orderly, & well laid out this Kroger is. Sadly, my satisfaction ended there, as I did not leave a lottery winner. Parking here wasn't pleasant. I can't imagine it ever is.

This is one of the worst Krogers in the city. The store is a mess and unorganized. Their pharmacy is especially bad. The line takes between thirty minutes to an hour to get your medication. They are slow to fill your prescription and are unwilling to help when issues arise. For example my pregnant wife was out of medication she needs to have to stay healthy and it took them so long to fill her prescription despite her calling multiple times a day for a week that she had to go without it for four days. This led to her having a massive panic attack which wasn't good for her and especially wasn't good for our unborn child. I'd recommend going to a different pharmacy and grocery store if you can or if not at least go to Oakley Kroger.

Recently moved back to Cincinnati. Lived in South Carolina for eight years, few Kroger stores but lots of Publix Stores where when you ask a question, they listen and take you to t(e items you ask about. They have baggers who will carry your groceries to your car. At the Hyde Park Krogers which insanely large and confusing, the employees ignore you, point or grunt a reply. The self checkout is huge, the manned check out lanes are always closing, rarely is there a bagger and rarely ask if you have a Kroger card. Today, the cashier charged us $21.60 for cokes advertised as 4/$12.00. I said the cokes are on sale, she responded you didn't present the Kroger card, if you want a refund go to customer service. I ask why can't you refund me the overcharge, She said I am going on break and walked away.

If you like waiting an hour for deli meat, a broken drive thru pharmacy, rude employees, bagging $300 of your own groceries, and the possibility of getting shot in the parking lot, this is the place for you!

1.) Why can't they understand that more people use the small carts than the large? If it's raining or under 45 degrees you can almost alway count on having to bring in a cart yourself. 2.) They seem to be having an increasingly hard time keeping the shelves stocked. 3.) Difficult to get through the produce area (you have to now after the remodeling). Harder still if you have to use one of the larger carts. 4.) Best parking spots reserved for people who are just picking up their orders. 5.) Employees assembling pickup orders often block the isles. 6.) Easy to assume we aren't welcome in the store.

While visiting family, my husband and I stopped in the Hyde Park Kroger to pick up a couple gift cards. The manager was so unprofessional! I witnessed him talking to another lady horribly about a woman he wants to replace at the in store Starbucks stating "I can't stand to look at her fat face". Then he mentioned something about a grievance and we didn't hear the rest. My husband and I were so taken back that we asked the man at the front of the store who he was and he said Brian Martin, GM. I'm definitely calling the corporate office later this morning. Many employees work in or around their own neighborhoods, and never should a person in charge EVER put down an employee! Maybe Kroger should look into this abhorrent behavior!

The checkout process seems to always take forever at this Kroger. The staff seems generally checked out (no pun intended) and ambivalent about the customer experience here...specifically the curbside pickup service is more often than not delayed well beyond the estimated delivery window, so much so that we're at the point of giving up on using it altogether. On the plus side, I'm a fan of all the remodeling that's happened here the past few years. The store looks great.

Slowest cashiers in the city. Never have enough staff, today it took 25 minutes to check out, at noon on a Monday
