Title: Frustrating Experience with PNC Bank: Lack of Communication and InconsistencyRating: ⭐⭐I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with PNC Bank that left me feeling disappointed and irritated. The lack of communication and consistency displayed by the bank staff during my visit was both surprising and disheartening.Before visiting the bank, I had a conversation with one of the bank representatives who already knew me. This representative explicitly instructed me to bring my identification when I came to the bank the following day. Trusting this information, I took my truck in for servicing before heading to the bank.To my surprise, upon arriving at the bank the following day, the teller informed me that I could not proceed with my transaction without proper identification. Confused and frustrated, I mentioned the previous day's conversation and how I was specifically told to bring my ID. The teller simply dismissed my concerns and reiterated that I needed my identification, with no explanation for the apparent miscommunication.Feeling disappointed and let down, I hurriedly left the bank and rushed back to retrieve my identification from the location where my truck was being serviced. This unnecessary detour caused significant inconvenience and wasted time. It was particularly frustrating because one of the bank representatives had already known me and should have communicated the requirements accurately.While I eventually managed to return to the bank with my identification and complete my transaction, the inconsistency and lack of communication among PNC Bank staff left a lasting negative impression. The experience highlighted a clear disconnect within the bank's internal communication processes and a disregard for customer satisfaction.It is with disappointment that I cannot recommend PNC Bank based on this experience. The fact that one representative knew me and instructed me to bring my ID, only for another representative to dismiss that information without any explanation, is unacceptable. PNC Bank should prioritize effective internal communication and ensure that customers are not left to deal with the consequences of such inconsistencies.I sincerely hope that PNC Bank takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues that led to this frustrating experience. Improved communication and consistency within their staff would go a long way toward enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.In conclusion, my recent encounter with PNC Bank was marked by a lack of communication and inconsistency. The contradictory instructions and dismissiveness of the bank staff resulted in inconvenience and frustration. As a result, I urge PNC Bank to reflect on and rectify these shortcomings to improve their overall customer experience.

You can’t withdraw from this ATM if you are not a PNC account holder. Why not just take my money on a ridiculous fee like most places? Fifth Third drive thru ATM across the road works. I swear these big corporate banks are destroying the world.

I stopped in (without an appointment) and the nicest lady, Sheila, helped me. This is the second time she has helped me. She is so nice and kind! I would have waited an hour to talk to her but she helped me between appointments.She is the best!!

I came in the branch on Sat to fund my new PNC account. I was frustrated bc my old bank made things very difficult so when the teller experienced an issue with the deposit due to a system discrepancy. I was worried they'd send me away. Instead the teller gave me an alternative fix, call customer service from the lobby to have them approve the transaction. While on hold for them to fix it, the lobby banker became available and had us go in his office so he could fix the issue. Between the lobby banker and the customer service rep, they cleared the errors on my virtual wallet and I was able to make my deposit with the teller. I appreciate all 3 of these people for working together to resolve this for me! And not once did they make me feel like I was a burden. I'm very happy to be back at PNC again!

I went in today to open a new account. I was told by the young man he didn't have time today and I would need to schedule an appointment. They were open for another 45 minutes. I make over 6 figures a year. Never known a bank to turn down money.

I've been a PNC customer for 20+ years and this location in recent times has had terrible customer service. Nobody ever wants to help, they all say go to PNC online and figure it out. I have multiple accounts here but I'm thinking of looking elsewhere.

We had an appointment at 10:30 to simply open a savings account and it’s currently 11:40 and we are still standing here trying to open this account. Our banker clearly had no idea what he was doing. Has to keep getting help from someone else and then found out he did it wrong! Now we have to wait even longer for them to figure out how to fix this problem. Not knowledgeable and I’m honestly worrisome about continuing to bank with them after this. I wish I could give this rating zero stars.

I have been banking here forever. Always friendly, efficient and helpful. I don't understand the negative reviews, but then we're all different. Also, I do 99% of all financial dealings online, so I'm rarely in any bank, but the times my wife and I have gone there, we've found the service to be just fine.

Very unprofessional, personnel couldn't do wire transfer and was trying to put blame on me when they were given all correct info in the first place. Took me two days of arguing just for them to figure out how to input bank address into the wire transfer form. And this is not the first incident I had with them. May be other PNC branches are good just not this one, clearly lacking professionalism and skills.
