The Hyde Park location provided extremely poor service regarding a $3000 false charge to my account. It took 3 days for for a dispute to even be filed. When you call they have no idea what's happening with the dispute they supposedly filed - there is nothing on my account showing they've done anything. My account is set up in a way that this should NOT have happened in the first place, no answers from the bank as to how it could have happened. Overall they have no answers, and have a very lackadaisical approach to fixing what is a major issue. If I wasn't following up each day I am sure nothing would have been done. Once this is resolved I will be moving my money elsewhere.

PNC is a miserable bank to do business with. All of their policies and procedures are in place to protect the bank and none exist to actually help the client. A friend deposited a local check and PNC is holding it until next Wednesday. They are refusing to work in collaboration with a bank manager from the other bank to push it through, when it's quite easy to do so. I have been able to do that with my bank in the past in an emergency. As a result, my friend's house payment will be late. I, personally, have encountered nothing but an inadequate response from PNC in the past when they erroneously deducted money from my account. Their response is always something like, "There's nothing I can do about it. It's out of my hands. You'll just have to wait." I can honestly say that I despise this bank. They don't deserve one single star.

applied for a credit card for my wife's caregiver in December, only received a card in my name, met with PNC Hyde Park staff in December to get a card issued in caregivers name. as of January 26, no credit has arrived and when I talk with staff they tell me to be patient and understanding that PNC does not have the plastic to produce credit cards and to set an appointment with them to discuss as telephone calls is not the best way to communicate or discuss problems. what kind of bank operated so hap hazardly?

I was locked out of my account and called the Paxton branch for assistance. They told me I needed to come into the bank to sort things out. Instead I called another branch and they "cleared" my account after verifying my information (the Paxton branch didnt even ask my name) so I could log in again. Weird how an entire ordeal was made from something that was resolved elsewhere in seconds. Great customer service....

I waited in the drive thru lines for 20 minutes to finally get to the drive up ATM and it's or is service! They need to put a sign out by the entrance!
