Love this place! Very friendly staff and happy dogs. Scott has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience and makes training easier to grasp and understand

We loved bringing our puppy to training here. He learned SO much! And, while it did take him some extra time it was easier on us knowing he was well loved and cared for during his time when he was there.

Pet Athletic Club is amazing! I have boarded my Australian Shephard, Josie, multiple times. Scott and the staff were patient with her and made me feel at ease knowing she was safe and being cared for.The dedication that is shown by everyone goes above and beyond any other place I have experienced. The facility is impeccably clean and organized, the scheduling was easy, and the staff was especially friendly. I would recommend PAC to anyone without hesitation.

Awful experience with both their training and boarding. Owner is condescending. They don't communicate. I prepaid for 20 classes and only used 3. They are the worst.

I enrolled my dog Max, a five year old Shepherd mix, for the boarding training class. Since taking the class Max is great on walks and his overall confidence improved. Scott really did great job.

My name is Adam Bleile. I am telling you who I am as I stand behind what I write and will not hide behind anonymity. I took my dog to Scott/PAC for obedience and protection training. I did not do day care. My dog was just under a year old German Shepard. He is not only my pet, but my family member. I spent several thousand dollars ($4K+) for my dog training and it was supposed to include additional training for a year after I picked him back up. I decided to walk away from the additional training and the money I paid as things went from bad to worse. All that was going to happen was more frustration and I decided it best to seek training elsewhere, and I did this. The problem is the communication. Scott always wants to talk and does not listen. When I did not understand, I would try to explain what I did not understand. Instead of addressing my concern he would correct my terminology. I did not like debating semantics. I am not a dog trainer. I just wanted an obedient confident dog who would watch over my family. My request is that simple. You can call that whatever term you want. Scott did train my dog. My dog got it and was good at it. I did notice one issue which arose after I left him with Scott for training. My dog would occasionally get agitated in his crate when a friend of mine came over. I do not know what occurred which suddenly caused my dog, who loved his cage (his place of zen to lay down without being messed with) to get agitated at times when in his cage. Something weird happened and I do not know what but I do not like it. Back to my main concern. There are two parts to dog training: training the dog and training the owner. Yes, he trained the dog. He was terrible at training me. I will accept some or even all of this responsibility. Maybe I am untrainable. I decided to change gears and have my mother try it as she loves my dog. We went in for an hour training. For the first 45 minutes my mom did not even handle the dog. Scott was talking down to her, asking her almost quiz like "gotcha" questions. He went back to debating semantics again. Then, she walked my dog in two circles and the hour was up. We walked back to the parking lot and she told me she was not going back. It broke my heart.I can go on and on about the problems, but you get the point. I simply wasted a large amount of money and time. On the bright side the new trainer has turned my dog into a rockstar and I fully understand how to get my dog to perform as I want. I even have videos of him and I doing the protection work. Good luck to anyone trying to mug me or my family now. Maybe I was just untrainable to Scott. My dog and I are bonded stronger than ever over this. This training occurred in just over a week versus several months with PAC. I get the impression my dog spent a lot of time in the crate versus being trained at PAC as my dog was not on their video cameras much. However, I could be wrong. I apologize for being wordy. I wanted the full picture to be known.I did give them a second star because I took my dog to get groomed and they did well with him. I think PAC would be a good place to board, groom and socialize dogs together. I am severing all ties with them as a large amount of money and time went largely out the door. My only happiness is my dog is now doing everything I want in just over a week.adam

Scott is an amazing trainer who helped my dog with severe social anxiety and separation anxiety. He's given us both a new start on how to work with each other and communicate. My dog came back with a new found confidence and loving personality. Thank you Scott for the wonderful hard work you put on my boy.

I enrolled my 6 month old Portuguese Water Dog in both daycare and the advanced off leash training with Scott. Both have helped my pup’s behavior tremendously. The staff has been very helpful and patient with him. So grateful for this service!

I am very picky about dog daycares. I visited 5 before deciding on the PAC. They are incredibly knowledgeable and provide the safest daycare experience for my dog. I would highly recommend.

I have been using PAC’s daycare service for my dog, Eddie, for a few weeks now. I reached out to Ellery at PAC with tons of questions and she had patience and answers for every question I had. Eddie went to his evaluation, which took several days to ensure a good fit, and I appreciated the personal feedback given at every pickup. Ellery, Scott, and the PAC team are extremely attentive and care more about animal safety and health than any other provider in the area. I love the ease of drop-off and pick-up, the option to pop onto the Webcams and see what Eddie is up to, and being able to ask Ellery and Scott questions about his behavior. Most importantly, the daycare at PAC is no-nonsense. I know that PAC staff is correcting nuisance behavior and that Eddie is in a safe place learning boundaries and healthy interaction. I opted for their unlimited package to test out Eddie’s first month and I have a feeling I will be a repeat unlimited customer. Thank you, PAC staff, for being so great!

Scott and the team from PAC trained our first dog in 2017. We were so delighted with how things turned out with our first experience that when we found a stray dog in December 2021 and decided to add him to our family, we reached out to Scott and Ellery to make reservations for him to attend the Board and Train Program at PAC. He just graduated two weeks ago and we see the same fantastic transformation we saw with our first. Both are pit bull mixes and found as strays and did not appear to have any training or structure prior to their time at PAC.Scott and his team taught both dogs commands that allow us to have a full life (being with us in public and under control) with our dogs and the long term support (weekly group sessions) required for you to add the skill and confidence needed to follow through on the excellent foundation and training from PAC.Take if from the owner of two, hard headed, full spirited terrier mixes…..I don’t think you will be disappointed with your decision to have your dog trained at PAC.

One of our dogs died in their care. Our second dog had been going there for 6-7 months for both daycare and boarding. The staff had always described him to us as being a good dog. After seven months, one of the trainers told us that he "couldn't come back" after an incident that had happened a few days prior. No one had told us about this so called incident and they allowed us to bring him back again. It makes no sense that he was such a problem that they would boot him but not tell us until multiple stays after an "incident." I had referred multiple people to them. Two have told me they wouldn't use them because of how uninviting the staff is.

Very disappointed with PAC. My husband and i started sending our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to boarding and daycare back in February and initially loved it there. We were told she needed an evaluation to play with other dogs, which is normal and she passed. We left her there nearly every month while we were away and liked that we could see her on the daycare cameras.
