Very good place to find OLD texts in good shape. As a person that collects cookbooks and hosts parties, there was quite a selection of books for me to choose from. The younger staff member was very friendly and helped me move the ladder to the section I wanted. While I can’t speak on much else, I can say that this store is worth a visit if you like roaming the stacks.

What a treasured find! This bookstore is amazing, a glance back to what a bookstore should be like! There are 4 floors of books to look thru. wonderfully organized and prices were easy to find and reasonable. But what equally makes the place a good find is the staff, very knowledgeable and kind. If I find myself in Cincinnati again, this place will be one of my first stops!

All new books it seemed like. They had a huge 32! Room selection anything and everything you can think of. It is a little tight in places but it is old building put together. Such a cool experience.

I come up to Cincinnati once a year to visit family and this is without a doubt the one place I have to go while here. Spending a few hours browsing their shelves is just good for the soul. Their selection of used books is full of rare/hard to find gems. You never know what you'll find. The folks that run the store are incredibly nice as well. Visiting bookstores is a passion of mine and The Ohio Book store is one of the absolute best.

I absolutely adored this 83 year old bookstore. It was charming, well organized, and I enjoyed chatting with the owners. Great poetry and cooking selection.

Ohio Book Store is by far the largest bookstore I have ever seen. Five floors, including a basement and a book binding area. We explored for almost an hour and it felt like time was stopped while looking through the books. All used books and filled with low priced books. I ended up purchasing 2 cookbooks at $3 each. I could have looks for several more hours if I had the time. If you have the time you should definitely carve out an afternoon for browsing.
