1 star in response to OARs new TNR policy.
Its very difficult to impossible to schedule and appointment with a feral/homeless cat. This new policy is not in the best interest of the cats or the volunteers who spend their time and money trying to help control the homeless cat population.
I've been trying for months to trap a feral cat in my community, and its already been a struggle constantly watching OARs limited walk in availability and hoping the cat shows up before you "fill up" and close to walk ins.
For all the homeless cats, I truly hope this policy is only temporary.

Very lovely place unfortunately run by unprofessional people. I adopted a kitten 2 days ago and the front Desk lady completely ignored my husband and I. Doing a crossword puzzle. They also didn't give us cat food for us to transition to new cat food. The cats are lovely, most the people aren't.

Best staff and sadly the best selection in town. Having the ability to interact with the animals is not only crucial, but rare.

Just had my baby spayed here. Was so anxious and worried about her but they did a great job with her spay. I know she was a handful because she’s aggressive with strangers but she’s been recovering nicely!

I adopted a cat in April and was told it was an indoor cay. It was not and unfortunately the cat ran away. I am still not able to find her. When I called them they do not answer someone called me back but wad not very helpful. I am disappointed in the experience. The sad part is we don't have a cat. We loved her and miss her. We barely had her 3 months. I just hope and pray she is safe.

I have had 4 kitties spayed/neutered here and all have been healthy, although not all happy?. i absolutely adore this place. staff have been super professional and kind both times i’ve been and they took great care of my cats. I actually brought my two twins to them on 8/1/24 and they found out my boy had a heart murmur. They called me and talked me through everything and were super nice and easy to talk to about the situation. Beyond thankful for the staff, the vets and the care they put into their patients? I’m considering applying to foster for them eventually as well:) Definitely recommend them to everyone I know!

Do wonderful service to their community and surrounding communities by the spay/neuter program they have. Simple no fuss drop off and pickup. Great place, please donate anytime you can because places like this must stay in operation for the good of our communities! Thanks to all the staff!

I’m glad they offer free spay/neuter for feral cats I just think that maybe the instructions could be nicer for after care. It seems like unless they’re indoor cats it doesn’t matter if the area gets ripped open or infected because it says release them back after they’ve spent one night and you don’t have to worry about it. I just think it’s not a great thing to preach… I also think that if your job is to specifically spay and neuter you should know if the cat is a male or female.. if it was an indoor cat would you have done the same thing or at least let the person bringing the cat in know you made a mistake?

Adopted 2 kittens for the price of one, and they have been fixed and are up to date on their shots, too. We brought our own carrier, or you can purchase a cardboard one for a small fee. They also sent us home with a small bag of food for each of them. Fill out the adoption form online before you go in, it will save a lot of time!

The sweetest place to adopt! Their facilities are top-notch and you can feel the love they have. I adopted my cat from them and she is the best cat in the world.

We are volume trappers and they are ready to help all of us. One at a time or many. Look at their web site for info.
