Just noticed this place still appears to be operating.
Some time ago, I needed to get a watch repaired and found this business. After emailing and calling, I agreed to come in at a certain day and time. When I got there, the man I had spoken to was waiting on another customer, which was fine. I identified myself and he did not seem to recall that he had told me to come in that day. He called out to another man who came out from the back of the shop.
This other man had a look on his face as if he had just been locked in a closet with a skunk. I said hello to him. Without saying anything to me the whole time, he gave me a dirty look, took the watch and just stared at it for about 5 seconds, put it down, gave me another dirty look and walked away. As he went into the back, he said to the other guy something like "you handle it."
I struck around for a minute or two looking at their merchandise and expecting the guy I made the appointment with (and who told me specifically when to come in) to say, I don't know, anything. However, there was nothing. So, I walked out.
I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I'm not sure how they can have the positive reviews they have, although they do sound like the "friends and family" type of comments.
I don't know, maybe I just happened to walk into this shop on the worst day of these guys' lives. Be that as it may, I don't need them. Bye.

Both brothers are dynamite, honest, kind and total gentlemen!!! We have had nothing but THE BEST experiences with this wonderful “gem” of a jewelry store, located in our lil downtown of Mt. Washington… Check it out!!! Local small businesses have the best of everything ???

Wonderful experience - Steve took great care of me at a very fair price. I needed a ring resized, some watch links removed, and another watch repaired. The work was done early and I was beyond happy with the final product. I will be using mt Washington jewelers exclusively for any and all jewelery needs I have moving forward.

Stopped in to see about getting my ring sized and was given impeccable service. So knowledgeable, friendly and explained what I need. I have to come back to get my shank replaced but to tide me over they put an insert on so I don't lose the ring in the meantime. Didn't even charge me and I wanted to pay. They are getting all my business and I highly recommend them. So fortunate to have this business nearby.
