My entire family are patients of Doctor Brown. Earlier this year my mother passed away after a short battle with her illness. Doctor Brown was compassionate, caring, and talked to her in a way that made her feel comfortable. After my mother passed this "Family Doctor" CONTINUED to support and send love to our family. He has treated four generations of my family and as an ER Medic I have never met a physician with the bedside manner, brilliance and sheer humility that is in Doctor Brown. His daughter is studying medicine and I certainly hope if she is anything like her father, which she seems to be, that she continues his practise and treats four more generations of my family. The negative reviews for long wait times???? Well those are easy to explain. See, this doc is your doc even when your in the hospital, he saw my mom every day she was in there, saw my father every day he was in there. He also spends time with his patients, listening to them. So yes.... you may wait... but you will reap dividends when you or your loved one is truly sick and dying, because he will be right there the entire time.Thank you so much Doc... they truly dont make them like you anymore!!!

Dr. Brown is a phenomenal family physician that I have been going to for 10 years. Yeah, sometimes the office is crowded and there is almost always a wait, but they get you in when you're sick. I cannot fault Dr. Brown for the waits, so I am giving 5 stars for Dr. Brown. 3 Stars (off the record) for the office delays in a tiny little waiting room.

Wish I could put a zero. Everytime I had an appointment, I waited an hour in the lobby and another hour in the room before seeing Dr. Cox. The last straw was when I got Dr.Cox's first appointment right when they opened. After sitting for 45mins, I asked what's the holdup and the staff told me Dr.Cox doesn't get in for another 30mins. That was my last visit

Dr. Anthony Brown has been my family Dr for about 20 years. My wife and children also see him. My wife was using her childhood family Dr with our oldest child. They misdiagnosed her more than once. It was a Dr who didn't approve of antibiotics unless one is half dead. My child was very sick. I called. They had me bring her in immediately. She was very sick w strep and sinus infection. My wife switched Drs shortly thereafter. We have two children now and we all go there. Fact is Drs office visits can b unpleasant no matter who ya see. The waits can b long and unpleasant especially if u r really not feeling well. MFP is a good place. Dr Brown cares and has helped us many times in desperate situations. Some folks don't realize that Dr Brown has patients to c at the hospital as well. He is only one man and can't be everywhere all the time. Dr. Cox is not racist. So what if most of his patients are African American. Duh..... He is African American and they feel more comfortable w a African American Dr. .White folks generally see white Drs. I'm white but when Dr Brown is out I see Dr Cox.. Dr Cox and Dr Brown are business partners. Hard to deny that Dr Brown is white and Dr Cox is not. Zero racism. I have the Confederate flag tattooed on my arm. I lived in westernTennessee for a while. I know what racism is. It's not at MFP. Racism is wrong and once we all see beyond our skin color we can then solve our real problems. Health care and otherwise.
