I really like the way they greeted me at the beginning then I explained the issue immediately they fix it and hand over the bicycle though it’s small job. But they never charged anything from me it’s was quiet surprise definitely worth to visit again.

I have only been in here two times but both times the customer service was abysmal. I try to shop local whenever I can but this place makes it hard with such rude and unhelpful employees. It's sad because there aren't many bike stores in the area. I would never recommend this place if anyone had questions, or wanted someone genuine to help.

Every time I come in here it seems the person I interact with has something shoved in there rear end. The man at the front desk was nice, but the person handling my product had an attitude in his demeanor looking at me with a smirk all for me to say thank you and for him to just walk away.

If you are going for service, the Help Wanted sign should be enough for you to figure out their experience in the repair shop. I had my bike serviced for basic $100 tuneup. They informed me I needed my back brakes serviced for an additional $40 due to the calipers not clamping effectively. I agreed to this additional service, and it seems it was done effectively. But when I picked it up I noticed scratches above the pedals that weren’t there and a gouge on the rear down tube. This was on a Thursday. They made me wait till Monday the next week to discuss a resolution to their error. They agreed to paint over the down tube gouge and take off the brake service. At the least I should have not had to pay them anything. I will NOT be back to Montgomery cyclery.

First- we are long time customers- all of our family bikes are from these fine people! They stand behind what they sell and anytime we've had an issue - it's fixed! Also love the free air right by the bike trail! On a bad note- we recently had a bike stolen and fortunately when I called in to get a serial number- Matt was able to find it! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Awesome customer service!

They need to be a little more knowledgeable on maintenance/warranty repair of their products, versus suggesting that you purchase a new one.

My bicycle got a flat down the street from the shop and so I walked my bike here to get it fixed. They were closed but this sweet gentleman was sitting on a park bench and helped me get my bike back on the road. God bless!

Great place to ride and try out a bike. Purchased 2 bikes, helmets, and other items here. Review update (improved rating): We had a small issue where a bike lock was misplaced during maintenance, but Scott helped get it resolved and corrected quickly! Made us super happy and over a year later we still love the two bikes we bought from this store

got an about 100 bucks estimation for some simple repair/replacement. Ok. then was asked to pay close to 200 bucks upon picking up because they charge a fee, which was never disclosed before I was about to pay. The bike's chain also got weird sound after this "repair". will NOT recommend to anyone. be cautious about this location

This morning I was taking a cruise and my bike literally broke at their front door step at 10am and they don't open till noon on Saturdays but Lucas saw me outside waiting and brought me in after examining the broken axle I believe is what he said. I ended up grabbing a coffee across the street and waited only 20-30 minutes before they finished the repair. They also have a great selection of products on top of their outstanding customer service.

I brought my Cannondale for new tires / maintenance last fall. Upon getting it back I had constant issues. Brought it to another shop to diagnose and it turns out the linkage was routed wrong and too short + derailer improperly adjusted. Won’t be returning.
