Mike was possibly the nicest bartender/notary that I have ever met. The wine was also very nice. Definitely check this place out!

Great wine tasting, limited wine selection, but all appeared to be excellent values. Stop by for a tasting, I will whenever I'm in the area.

I'd give it 6 stars if I could. This place is one of the treasures of Clifton. Feel nothing but warmth every time I come here.

Stopped in, 1st time, during the December holiday Clifton Fest on Ludlow. We got a friendly welcome and explanation of the day's tasting menu. Between us 2, we shared a tasting of four pours--all of which were good. The atmosphere is great and Ludlow Wines has a neighbourly vibe that is quintessential to the Clifton Gaslight area.

The ancient joy of conversation lives on in this wonderful wine bar. No music, no TVs, just people chatting with people. I love this place and I hope it never changes.

It's a small store, but maintains a well curated selection. The owner is fun and knowledgeable. Thanks!

This is in his website. “In his 25 years in the wine trade, Mike Anagnostou has followed a simple philosophy of satisfying customers with quality and value.” This is so true. Charming man and a Notarizer, the best in town! Did I mention he is a Story Teller and an amazing one too. This testimonial from me is long over due but here I am still alive to share what he does. Love his wine and generosity too. Give him 100stars ??❤️

My fiancee and I went in here for the first time recently, looking for a Spanish red wine. The owner gave us two options--one for 8.99 and one for 11.99. When we asked for his opinion--what were the differences between the two?--he said, "One is 8.99. The other is 11.99." When we pressed for details, he refused to say anything more. I'm not sure if the owner knew nothing about these two wines (and wouldn't admit it?) or if he thought we were too young to know anything about wine. (We're graduate students, 29 and 30; we were both wearing backpacks.) His whole manner was off-putting, condescending, and strange. We went with the 8.99. (It was fine.)
As if things weren't already awkward enough, when we got to the register, the owner pretended my fiancee's ID was fake and wouldn't break character, even though we weren't laughing. The bad joke might have been okay, I guess, if he'd been helpful or knowledgable about wine--which he wasn't--or if we were joking and getting along--which we weren't--but ultimately it just seemed in line with his whole treatment of us as customers not worth his time or attention because of our age.
From here on out, we'll be going to Market Wines near Findlay, or Hart & Cru in Pendleton--two stores where the selection is better, and where the people are friendly and helpful.

The owner is a notary and does notary's almost any time for just one dollar.... My bank refered me to go there.
