I’m almost 50 and they wouldn’t sell me beer because I didn’t have my ID handy. Are you kidding me? I really look anywhere close to 21? Do you know how much money I spend on beer and that little used word anymore - groceries? Multiple, multiple thousands of dollars a year. I wish I’d have smashed that beer on the floor right there. Up yours, little Kroger girl. I’m probably older than your dad and have spent more money at Kroger than you will on college. Why am I so pissed over this? I don’t know. It’s silly. Never wanted a beer this bad until this moment. Totally wasted time. Just like this post.

Online store hours are listed as closing at 11. I tried to walk in at 9:58 to grab one item and the doors were turned off with a young man standing in front of them saying they were closed, that they closed at 10. I said it isn’t 10 yet and I only need to grab one item. He shrugged and shut the door. Won’t be back to this store.

They are starting to get a bit skimpy with the tuna and salmon selections in the sushi! I went to a different Kroger's in a different neighborhood. The picture on the left is the sushi from a different Kroger's. There is a much better portion and presentation difference. I'll be taking my business there when it comes to getting my sushi from now on.

Too many Kroger's around this area treat customers terribly! One too many times I've been stalked like I'm stealing or something. Watched over at the register. I even saw another comment about it happening to another lady at the Eastgate location. She thought it was bc they were black and was racially profiled. That's not true! What IS true is that your profiled if you don't look like a white yuppie. Yes I'm saying it. It's TRUE! 3, THREE stores this has happened to me! The latest incident was my last at Eastgate Kroger something different. But there's often always an issue. At Wooster location I literally watched the checkout lady not be around, not state down the last who looked like she a lot of money. When it was my turn everything changed. I took even asked why she was staring me down . It was so uncomfortable. This location I was stopped at the door wrongfully and never received an apology. I was told it was bc an employee didn't know if the lady at the register scanned something or not. (Bit more to that story). Point being is I've been harassed over and over by Krogers employees. Treated so unfairly and all I've done is spend money just like anybody else. It's really upset me several times. If you call corporate, they say you'll get a call back but you don't. They don't care. It's one thing to watch your store but it's another to harass ppl to the point of no return. It really makes ppl feel less than. Thanks Kroger! Anderson, Eastgate and Wooster Pike! 3 stores ! It's a system wide issue it seems. I guess I need to change who I am and look like someone else in order to please them enough to not have this happen repeatedly!shame on you Kroger! You teach your staff this, you'll pretend that's not the case. I've decided that this needs to really be looked into. If corporate isn't going to do anything about it, then u leave ppl with no other option but to make it publicly known, & no not just through a google review. I wonder if channel 9 would be interested

It’s honestly rare how even if I’m displeased, if at all, with a Grocery store, I can still say I at least got my food in decent condition. At least the shelves are clean and items are rotated out. It’s disheartening to see a grocery chain as big as Kroger not allow their employees to take time and properly stock their shelves. You know, making sure we are not being sold spoiled and actual expired food that could get someone sick or worse. I KNOW it’s not the employees fault! Whoever is in charge of corporate needs to get it together. It’s honestly amazing how much better kept the Mt. Washington and Cherry Grove locations are in comparison to the intended “nicer” Kroger. Something’s gotta change, man…

I do not recommend ever shopping at this Kroger, especially for a pickup order. Today is the second time I have placed an order three days in advance, and this is now the second time where they “experienced an influx of orders” and moved my order back to the next day. And just like the last time, by doing so, items I ordered were not available and removed from my order. This coupled with the fact that they will randomly lock down items for “Delivery Only” when that costs additional, this Kroger has zero regard or concern for the satisfaction or experience of their customers.

Easy to shop Krogers with the expected variety of grocery items and reasonable prices. Self checkout was quick and easy to use.

We had an order scheduled for early this morning that was spontaneously cancelled. My husband called to ask for more information and, after a weird brainstorming sesh where they hypothesized what may have went wrong, it seems like the Customer Service Rep concluded it must just be a mystery. We were fine with dropping the mini investigation if they could just locate our order and have it sent later today. But, alas, this was simply impossible. Basically no effort was made to make the situation right.
We've always been Kroger shoppers but this is just one of many issues we've had over the last year or so. Kroger has never been the cheapest option, but I was willing to pay for the convenience of the Blue Truck subscription. Having to make a hurried trip to the grocery in between meetings on a Tuesday isn't exactly convenient though. And if I wanted to do that, I could be in and out of Aldi in about half the time.

One of the largest Kroger stores in the area. Not as many "home items" as other Marketplace stores, but definitely the biggest selection of grocery items.

I had a fine time shopping, the only trouble I had was at checkout. I only had a few items when I went through so I used the self checkout to be quick. As I was scanning my items the machine got mad at me and thought I didn't scan a item. I moved the item to a different bag since I guess the scale was being weird, that made it happier. When I was ready to pay and get out of there it called an attendant over and after about what felt like 3 minutes they finally came over. They scanned their badge and I saw on the screen that it was accusing me of not scanning an item, or stealing. They let the video play of how I might have been stealing and I don't think they even watched it. I have had similar events at this location the past few times I have gone. I think that their systems tolerance it too high and should be turned down. The self checkout lane should be called extended time lane. I don't know if I should shop at a place that accuses me of stealing anytime I go.

Update - July 2024 - Much, much improved. Use regularly with excellent results
Grocery pickup service is very poor. Left waiting for over an hour.
