Kroger is simply profit driven, nothing more. I shopped today at the Oakley Marketplace and had a terrible experience. First, the fish counter doesn't open until 9:00am. The store is open but the fish counter is not, because they can save money not having it open. The bathroom was a disaster. NO toilet paper, paper all over the floor, no papertowels to dry my hands. Thankfully someone had left baby wipes and a container of off the shelf soap. Is it too much to pay someone to clean the bathrooms? Then the ring out process. First, we all know why the cashiers and baggers were fired, right? Millions of dollars. "Let's make the customer ring and bag their own groceries!!!!" Great idea. We'll get big bonuses!" So the automated roller stops and I have to step over to move things down when a guy comes over to "help" me. He proceeds to put my groceries into plastic bags. I have my own cloth bags I said and handed them to him. THey were sitting there in plain sight. I go back to ringing and he proceeds to put all the heavy canned items into one small bag. Now I am really getting upset. I said "that was really stupid to put all the heavy items in one bag. I've had a really bad experience here today." He says, "look in the mirror." I am done with Kroger. There are other grocery stores - Meijer, Whole Foods, Findaly Market. I am done.

This Kroger is the only one where I can always find smoked Turkey tail for my residents!

Pharmacy is unprofessional. Upon my arrival to pick up a prescription a customer and worker were yelling and cussing at each other for which both were in the wrong. Another I had an issue with was the workers were letting kids just stand by the counter while people were picking prescriptions and giving their personal information. This is not only unprofessional but also a huge breach of privacy. These issues need to be addressed.

Always short staffed. Shop inside and wait in long lines. Order a pickup, half the time your order isn't ready and they "can call you when it is ready". Thanks, so glad I drove here already and planned this into my day.

I stopped in recently before having my car looked at at the nearby Jeff Wyler Hyundai service center. As Kroger's go, it's on the smaller & more depressing side. You'll find the essentials here, more or less, but you probably won't enjoy the experience. If nothing else, it made me glad I live as close as I do to their larger Newport store.

I don't know if the FreshPet cooler is serviced by a vendor or Kroger but every product that I use is outdated. There were many packages of the Small Dog Fresh Pet Roasted Meals tender chicken. Every one was outdated. Some as far back as September. If someone didn't check the dates, the outdated spoiled food could make a pet sick or even kill them. I get that the coronavirus has presented challenges for keeping shelves stocked but Oakley and Hyde Park can keep fresh stock so it's a Kennard problem. I reported it to customer service. He was not interested, didn't write down my comments.

Krogers refused to cash a Kroger's money order, even with two forms of Ohio ID, on two occasions. Took it to another Krogers and they refused also. ODL and Passport ID.

disgusting store and lazy rude employees. this Kroger's prices are ALWAYS higher than other stores and it's always dirty. half of the time I come here I can't even get the things I need because I can't get past the full skids in the middle of the aisles. tonight I went and there was trash everywhere in the parking lot. I had to even step over used feminine hygiene products. The staff can't even be bothered to be told about it because they're always talking to each other and ignoring the customers. I think from now on I'll just drive the extra 20 minutes to go somewhere else.

My fiancé purchased two pieces of salmon (separately packaged, large in size; about one pound each) that was originally about $8-$9 each was marked down from this location to about $5/each. He attempted to cook one of the pieces of salmon, from the freezer. However, it had a smell to it after cooking, therefore he tossed it out. He then attempted to return the other piece he had purchased hence the first piece had to be thrown out due to the smell. Tony, a manager at this location expressed to him that he could not return the piece of salmon, or exchange it without a receipt which caused him the inconvenience of having to drive home to locate a receipt when it was clearly purchased from Kroger. The receipt could not be located, therefore we are out the money from both pieces of salmon. This is not the first time a return or exchange has been made, and there were no issues at other locations. Not sure why a simple exchange couldn't be made to keep a customer happy.

It's right in the border of Clifton and usually quite busy but I'm giving four stars because the online ordering service at this location is outstanding - they do a great job

I hate this Kroger. Its close to where i live so i tend to shop here. The produce is often not as good as the produce in nicer kroger stores. The parkinglot is sketchy. Its hard to get small carts or baskets because the vast amount of sketchy people that steal them. They have a bad security problem so they have some jerks for security guards who give me dirty looks as i walk by after I spend money there over and over again. Which is an awful customer service experience.

This is an older store but still packed with great selections. Just because it is older doesn't mean not to provide maintenance on the building and the carts. Specifically the carts are in desperate need of either upgrade or repair. One last note, my cashier was Melba. She was very quick to engage me in conversation. That was the best part of my trip since pushing around a squeaky wheeled, loose welds cart was a bit embarrassing.
