1-4-24,,, KeyBank on glenwy @ plaza I went to withdraw money from my acct the guy that waited on me (African American with twist braids/locks in hair) was doing the most, the amount I wanted to withdraw he states he has to send a code to my phone because of the amount I was withdrawing, he never ask for my id which would've been proof of my identity, what if my phone was dead or broken then what!?,, I told him I have id (driver license), he didn't want to see id. He sent code to my phone it took 1 min to come in I told him the code number then he states he has to send me another code that one expire, I told him that code shouldn't have expired that fast!! I believe he didn't want me to withdraw my money of that amount I was withdrawing! I'm glad I don't have my savings acct at KeyBank! I have my savings acct at a different bank (not KeyBank),, I understand that measures should be in place to prevent fraud, but he was being ridiculous! Wasting my time like he did!! Sending code after code to my phone after I gave him the code number. Just harassment. In the future ask for driver licence for id!!I'm thinking about maybe closing my acct with KeyBank ..

Marilyn, Kim, Cheryl and the rest of the staff were very helpful, polite and patient. Services offered are top notch and will fit whatever your needs may be. Best banking experience I’ve ever had.

Terrible bank. Will be switching. I made a deposit and they duplicated it so my account was in negative and my other auto pay stuff got cancelled. Issue after issue.

Worst experience there ever. Today was by far the worst. To start off I walked in around 12:20pm and there were 3 people a head of me. One young man being helped by the person at the counter, and two others standing and waiting in line, and there was a male black branch manager sitting in the office, who didn't seem to care at all of what was going on out side the little office box. The female bank tiller that was helping the young man was taking so long that the 2 customers ahead of me left after what seemed like 15 minutes of waiting. That should have told me to leave as well, but no I stayed. Anyways this older male white male walks in about 5 to 7 minutes later and I thought, oh great relief. He logged in and since the other two customers left, I was up next. I walked up to the till and told him I wanted to a debit card out that I received from work. He asked twice if I had an account with key bank and I told him both times I don't, and that I just wanted to cash my key bank card out for $398.50. I then gave him $2 extra dollars so he could just even it out to $400.50. Well evidently the $2 dollars really confused him because he didn't understand why I was giving him two dollars. So he proceeds to punch things into the computer and starts pulling money out. When I say this person needs training he needs extensive training. He counted the $398.50 three to four times. On the fourth time he placed it near the window so I grabbed it and then he told me to put it back so I put back. I didn't realize he wasn't done, but it seem like it confused him to a point where he had to recount the money, again! Then he asked why i was giving him the $2 and I told him again the amount on the card is $398.50, so the $2 is so that you can give me $400.50 in large bills. I stood there for a bit of time and I see him messing with the computer. By now My patients have gone and I'm getting really upset. He then puts all the money back in to the register and takes one of the $1 dollars I gave him and he puts it in the register, leaving $1.50, my wallet, my phone, and key bank card on the counter, and tells me that he put all the money back on the card and that we will start all over! By now I was livid. Yes I did swear and cus but I was really upset. I asked him why he did that, I didn't even ask for that. I told him I wanted my cash taken out of the card, when did I say I wanted you to put it back on the card? He gave me a blank stare like he didn't know what he was doing. Then he goes back to his computer and then he has the audacity to sit there and tell me "I'm not sure what you want me to do, there's no money on this card, and we have given you the $398.50 in cash you can leave now." I lost it. He sat there and lied to my face saying he's given me cash money of $398.50 when he literally put all of the money back in the register and I'm standing there with nothing at all but a $1.50 and my phone and wallet on the counter. I tell him he never gave me my money, and to tell me where is the $398.50 that you owe me, because there's nothing here on the counter. Again he gave me blank stare! He did ask me to stop swearing but after being lied to like that, no it was well deserved. He tried pushing me to the other lady but she said she wasn't getting into this mess, that's how horrible of a job he did, so horrible that his own coworker wouldn't help him. Then he tells me that he needs to balance his register, and if his till is over by $398.50 then he will give me the money. How incompetent can you be! He needs immense training. I just wanted to leave with my money, I was so upset. Then this black branch manager comes over (yes the same one sitting in his little glass office) cause he asked for his help and literally does nothing. The manager just shrugs his shoulders and and says yes. I got no apology! Nothing, not a we're sorry nothing! Anyways the person balances and calls the manag

Key bank puts long holds on checks. Locations and drive thru access are lacking. They won't credit your overdrafts caused by legitimate checks deposited that they put holds on to draw an overdraft. Huntinton bank has 24 hour Grace. I'd choose any bank over keybank. Avoid like it's the plague. Not even the free $200 is worth it. I'd bury my money in the back yard in a can before I trusted keybank with my money.

I've rarely seen unprofessional staff as the one in this location. At 20 min to 5 pm, I got there to open an account, and I was told that it is not possible because it takes 30 min to open my account. What I didn't understand it that there were 3 cashiers and 1 other banker who wasn't busy.I think that the agents need to treat the customers, specially their future customers with care.I'm really disappointed with this place.Do not hesitate to contact me if more information is needed

I went to this Key Bank branch on Saturday to open a checking account as I am working on weekdays and they informed me that the banker is not available and I feel really weird for their answer. It feels really bad as the sole purpose of bank opening on weekend is to help working people. Don't go to this branch

I hate KeyBank so much there fees are ridiculous. They charged me $38 for being negative a few cents. Then get charged $25 for trying to close accounts who haven't been open longer than six months. I had a work injury and wasn't making enough to keep up with the accounts I would be negative $100 a week at least every other week. I'm switching to chase. At least with chase if I get charged over draft fee I won't get charged again unless I buy something else until it reaches the six day.Which I wasn't doing with key. With key every three days I was getting charged $38 even if I didn't pay for anything.
