We have worked with Hyde Park Lumber for years, they are reliable and communicative. We always send our clients here first, it is great to have a lumber and design source that we can trust!

Great friendly and helpful service. From the cashier to the picker and forklift driver. They all were consistently friendly and offer to help me.Nothing like the big box stores. These people are local and definitely will keep coming back.

DO NOT TRUST HYDE PARK LUMBER Please dont let them take advantage of you with there shoty work and unprofessional work and high prices. Do yourself a favor and choose one of their competitors. The people that work there are extremely unprofessional and rude. They only care about how much money they can get out of you at any cost. The work they do is amateur at best. The price they give is not the price you will end up paying. Hopefully this will save you money and time that we could not get back. Stay away from this unprofessional business. Management at this place is a joke. No wonder there are so many bad reviews.

I went to Hyde Park Lumber for kitchen design and purchase of cabinets & countertops. Their design software is badly out of date, did not allow me to really visualize what the new kitchen would look like. The designer at first offered to sell me cheap "knock down" cabinets from China, but when I asked to see something a bit nicer (like more color choices), that's when things went haywire. The quote on the cheap cabinets was $18,000, but according to the second quote, something a bit nicer was going to cost me $32,500 (with no real explanation of what I would be getting that justified the $14,500 price difference.) The mystery was solved when my contractor accidentally forwarded me a message from the Hyde Park designer to my contractor that said, "I took it that she [me] has an unlimited budget . LOL. I think if she can get everything she wants she won't care [about the price]. I have not even discussed ballpark pricing with her."Once I realized they were just going to price gouge me, I decided to run, not walk, to another company that would treat me ethically and transparently.

We order over 5k worth of materials from them for our kitchen. It didn't show up on the day it was supposed to. When I called to find out why they were extremely rude and hung up on me. when I called back to ask for a manager they put me on hold but I could hear them laughing about how they hung up on me the 1st time. When the material did arrive some of it was damage. They had the nerve to tell me that it was looked over and was excepted by us. We weren't even there when it was delivered. I'm still fighting with them to get this resolve. Its put us weeks behind. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Our experience was awful it's likely yours will be as well

Hyde Park Lumber is really the go to guys for specialty lumber, decks, siding pretty much everything! The Big Box Stores have nothing on these people since they’ve got over 200k square feet of hard to find and special items that the other stores don’t.

So disappointed. Bought over $2k of railing & needed to exchange 2 panels for 3 in a smaller size. They would not take one back after ensuring me on the phone they would. I spoke to Logan on the phone who I told the product packaging was slightly ripped. He ASSURED me they would take it back still as long as pieces weren’t missing as they’re “not really sticklers.” Had to get a friend who has a truck to come help get the railing back to them. Upon arriving. they refused to let us exchange one panel because it was slightly scratched (they delivered the product to us). Honestly it’s shocking to me that they wouldn’t exchange it when we were buying MORE product with them. Refused to budge over a panel that was $270, probably cost them $145... I will never recommend them to anyone and they will never have my future business. I chose to order through Zach and give the business to a local company, paying a premium for better service. What a mistake!! Next time I’ll buy online from a company that cares for customers and still costs less!

They've been in business for a very long time for a reason, if you need it they'll have it.

Ordered close to $3K material that was ordered by my contractor. The date of agreed upon delivery the material doesn't show. We call and they say there was a problem with the payment method. They had my number (I left it on a voicemail when I called to order. Which took multiple calls as no one called back for hours) email, and my contractor info. So instead of contacting us about the payment trouble, they just didn't show. Myself, the contractor, and his employees wasted an entire day. That's not how you do business. Would not recommend.

Terrible experience delivering food here. Easily a multi million dollar company, ordered over $200 food, I drove it 20 miles to them for lunch. $2.00 was the tip they gave me. Gas is $5.00. I would never use this business personally or recommend them to others as they have no respect for customer service norms and come off as cheap and the type to cut corners in the product they deliver.
