Overall a wonderful experience. We had a free night to use up so I won't be to critical but the room was very odd. Room 1420 in particular was very tiny and laid out in peculiar fashion unlike any other room I'd stayed at a Hyatt or other hotel for that matter, luckily we weren't there to be in our room long so other than that the staff and facilities were nice and our trip was good. Just don't get that room!

We almost exclusively use Hyatt because of credit card points. We particularly like Hyatt Regency since it is usually in downtown proper and has extra amenities like a restaurant and great fitness center/pool.This Hyatt Regency has a great entrance, decent fitness facility (much larger than usual), and proximity to great restaurants downtown. We were able to walk to most of the locations we wanted to go. The staff was also kind but they are obviously under-staffed. The good stuff stops there. The rooms were not cleaned to the standard I’m used to. The toilet and sink were clean at first glance, but both had a layer of grim/mildew under the rims (which is a frequently missed spot if you aren’t paying attention to detail). The towels are threadbare. It’s almost comical because my towels from 12 years ago in college aren’t as bad as these. The bathroom door had what I HOPE was coffee splashed all over, along with various other stains. There was a booger on the bathroom wall. The temperature gauge looks like it has never been wiped and there was grime on the buttons (this goes for most of the high touch surfaces in the room). I ended up cleaning these things (bathroom door and high touch surfaces) myself because I assumed this is the theme in all the rooms. The ice machine has mildew at the back of it. The machine itself looks Paleozoic. How is this a 4-star hotel? The TVs are outdated and so are the room furnishings. The bed was comfortable, but there was an ill-fitting mattress cover and no fitted sheet (just flat in lieu of fitted).Honorable mention to the 2 cockroaches we found in a 3-day stay. I understand that’s a hard problem in a large city building so I’m not even going to say it’s the hotels’s fault. It’s still gross.I want to be clear with all of this that I do not blame the ancillary staff and this is all clearly a reflection of poor leadership and management. I stayed at a Hampton Inn two weeks ago for work that was a 2-star hotel and the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. It’s about staffing appropriately and following through with the standards you say you hold yourself to. I’ve seen management comment several times when a negative review comes up that’s it’s not “up to their standards.” Threadbare towels, dirty underbellies/lack of attention to cleaning, and outdated rooms are chronic problems. This hotel doesn’t update (or probably care) because the convention center and other attractions like the Bengals stadium will always bring in guests. It’s a real shame. I will continue staying at reliable Hyatts in the future but I will not stay here if I return to Cincy.

Room had no ventilation or air flow. Pool is much smaller than it looks. Staff was very helpful as we were checking out, Colleen helped us out a lot.

The is just a fancy LA Quinta hotel. Water randomly went out this morning (had to use water bottles to wash my hands.) Whoever cleaned my room, took our second key so I had to deactivate both keys and get new ones. The lobby is beautiful and the warm pool was nice but there is no smart TV in the room and everything in the room is DATED. If you stay here, lower your expectations so that you're not disappointed when you walk into your room.Noteworthy details: PARKING: Either pay $39/night for valet or park yourself and a garage for $28/night

Our keys kept not working several times. The hot tub in the pics no longer exists. The soap and shampoo are nut based even though that is a very common allergy. Asked the front desk for an electric kettle and was given a random jug. The only place to smoke was riddled with homeless people bumming cigarettes.

Perfect location to alot of places 2-5 minutes away from many places. The rooms were spacious and had a warm greeting at the valet and front desk and restaurant inside.

Valet stole from my car, do NOT stay here! Pillows flat, room furnace too noisy to sleep. Staff were nice and helpful but does not justify the experience.

A good hotel with a bad blind spot. While checking in, I noticed an ice/vending room on our floor. I figured I’d grab a drink before bed after getting settled in. I tapped my card, worked through every option… and everything in the machine was 100% out of stock. Ah, well.On the last day, we’re thirsty again, so we go get ice. When we get back to the room, we noticed the ice is covered in black particles (see photo). We dump the ice, try again (to see if maybe there was something in the bucket we didn’t see) and it was black-flecked ice again. We called the front desk to let them know they may want to take the machine out of service. They asked if they could do anything to help. We said a bucket of ice would be nice and they informed us that ice machines (like the one dispensing black particles that look similar to mold) on each floor. Thanks. The ice/vending room was gross. It was moist, there was a sound of dripping water, and there are towels on the floor soaking the mess up. The towels have been there for days, so they know this room is jacked up and just roll with it.I wish they would take this seriously. I hope the guy who was getting ice when I passed by the room on my way out this morning is ok.

Great location for hitting restaurants, bars, and casinos. I like that their restaurant stays open later than most hotel restaurants. They also have a mini mart open 24 hours.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this Hyatt. The location was great! It was walking distance to restaurants, nice coffee shop and the Paycor stadium. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly decent and very friendly staff. The price was also reasonable and I appreciate all the small-packaged kid snacks in the little market downstairs. The only VERY negative feedback I have is regarding the valet parking. Even if you call ahead, they still make you wait a good 20-30 mins to get your car. Someone has to do something about it because it is incredibly disorganized and clearly, it is not looked after by management.

I loved having daily turndown service (you can't take that for granted these days!) and everyone I interacted with was very kind. Lovely place.
