Trying to go into the branch to get help is useless, they referred me to call which is always a disaster. I have been authorized on my deceased father's mortgage account for years. The branch says they can't see it and that I need to call. So I leave and call customer service who says; no the branch needs to call us. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The rep on the phone says there is no way to notify the branch I am authorized and that the branch needs to call whenever I come in because they have different systems. That's just one small problem of many I have had with Huntington. Please take your business somewhere that actually wants to help people.

If you want your card suspended every time you buy something they feel you shouldn't then this is the bank for you. I'm sick of it. What a hassle every other week to get it unsuspended.

Huntington Bank was supposed to back a jumbo home loan for my husband and I. They dragged their feet and were unbelievably unprofessional. The day of closing, they suddenly had more questions about the appraisal. They delayed the closing. When our mortgage broker tried to work with them they suddenly stopped communicating. So unprofessional!!! Absolutely no regard for customers! We ended up pulling money from a retirement account to get a conventional loan so we could get away from dealing with Huntington. Do NOT do mortgage business with this bank. They do not have their stuff together and do not care at all about customers.The amount of unnecessary stress they put on everyone involved is abhorrent!

I've been banking with Huntington for 5 years and they have been courteous and kind in all transactions. I've acquired loans through them before I became a customer and they were quick to work with me so needless to say I'm very pleased.

Walked in to get a temporary debit card, was told they got do that. Called and was told they do. Refuse to go back, went to a different location.

The person that said the manager was rude was not kidding. I have had to call customer service 5 times in a week because of systems that were designed badly, and were affecting my account. It’s literally two days before Christmas and I needed to deposit a check and I asked what would be available immediately like the app, they said typically 500. the immediate funds did not deposit correctly, and they did not let me know in time to reverse it. This is among many issues I have had with them and I’ve only been banking with them since the summer. Why can Walmart cash a check but not a literal bank?

Spent 16 minutes on the phone with Danny, I think was his name, inquiring about and old cashiers check I found. Says it should be good. Get there and the teller called a # and in a couple minutes or less told me it was already cashed. Gave Danny the check # and additional requested info, could have checked the same. Instead wasted my time going over there after that mostly-on-hold call

Words cannot express my anger and how upset I am with Huntington. I went to deposit a check and instead of a typical 3 day hold which I expected, they instead locked down my entire account and debit card for over a week so they could "investigate" the deposit. So not only did I not get my money from the check I was trying to deposit, but I also could not access my work pay check that direct deposited the next day. No explanation given when calling in, only "Apologies for the inconvenience". Yeah. Thanks Huntington. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK. As soon as I get access to money again I am leaving and already have a new bank lined up. Not a penny will be left with them.

Staff is rude didn't help me at all with my problem and decided they weren't going to hear me out with what was going on when I signed up online for a checking account that said I could get paid up to 2 days early they fought me on the issue and said that wasn't possible false advertising if you ask me!!! Not worth going thru the trouble don't waste your time with a bank that doesn't keep their word you shouldn't have to jump through hoops either!!!

COUNT YOUR $$ if you are taking already wrapped cash out of that bank. I took $4000 out and they had it wrapped by $2000 each and I never counted it I just threw it in my safe to pay for my jet ski later. Pulled it out and almost $160 was missing. $80 from each $2000 totaling $160! But of course if I were to go complain they would say it’s my fault. Hate that branch!
