“I went I just looking for one item today, but the staff was so helpful and I found what I needed instantly. I’ll be going here anytime I need a home improvement type item in the future, their supply looked extensive.”
“Twice, we had to take our edger in for repair. They had it fixed and returned, especially the 2nd time, very quickly. They explained the problem and we were happy with their communication.”
“Engels is always quick to help and their turn around times are unbelievable. I ordered gutters this morning for two separate jobs and they were able to have the one job available for pick up within a couple hours and they were able to deliver the other one to my job site with very little notice. We will be using Engels again for our business!”
“Amazing customer service! I started to buy my mower at Lowe’s, but went to Ace instead because the staff seems friendly whenever I’ve shopped there for smaller purchases. Ended up buying my Ego mower there, and found out the battery wasn’t able to handle my yard on a single charge. I emailed the local store and asked if I could exchange/upgrade to the newer model with a bigger battery. Tim, the owner, was super helpful and he and Bill the manager let me swap them out with no hassles and were super friendly along the way. If you’ve ever returned anything to Lowe’s or Home Depot, you’ll know a friendly return experience is something you don’t expect. Plan to shop at Ace more often.”

“Absolutely love the store, very friendly and knowledgeable staff and giving hands on instruction on how to use different kinds of equipment, I will be shopping here again soon!”

“Fantastic little hardware store with all the essentials you might need. Everyone has always been super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The prices are great as well. I went to Lowes to buy 12 gauge Romex wire and it was $59 for 25 feet, and you can only buy in pre-set lengths. At Northside Hardware you can buy by the foot, and the prices are far better, $1.05 for 12 gauge, or around $26 for 25 feet, a $33 saving over Lowes. We're very lucky to have such a great hardware store in the heart of Northside!”
“Burkhardt pro hardware is my go-to hardware store. Whenever I need anything for my shop or business I go to Burkhardt pro hardware. The business is under new ownership and they've lowered some of their prices which were already low to begin with! I always like to support local businesses as opposed to the big box hardware companies.Their location on Vine Street is very convenient with easy parking in the rear and right in front. They have a very wide selection of new and old hardware items, some that can't be found anywhere else.Do yourself a favor and visit Burkhardt pro hardware. You'll save time and money and you'll be glad that you did!”

2915 Colerain Ave, Cincinnati“I like this store so much I won't go to another after my recent visit. This store has a vibe and look of a store that made me feel as I had time traveled to the kind of store I may have went to with my grampa as a kid. I loved my visit. Will be returning soon.”
“After getting the runaround from Honda and a local locksmith to re-program my immobilizer "chip keys" to start my 2007 Honda Fit, I was told to call Silverton Hardware. Todd hooked up his machine to my car, and 5 minutes later, I am in business for a fraction of what I was quoted elsewhere! It is a breath of fresh air when dealing with a place that knows their stuff. 5 Stars!”
“A great local hardware store that helps you when you walk into the store. The staff is knowledgeable and they have lots of solutions for all your home improvement projects. If you have an old house with lots of challenging situations they can help you…or if you’re just doing your weekend projects, they can help you.”

Their willingness to go the extra mile is a refreshing change from the sometimes impersonal experience of larger retail chains.
In terms of selection, Cramer True Value offers a well-curated range of products that cater to all your DIY needs. While it may not be the largest store in the area, they manage to stock a decent variety of tools, hardware, paint, gardening supplies, and more. What sets them apart is the quality of their offerings; you can find trusted brands and reliable items that make your projects easier and more enjoyable. Plus, they often carry unique items that you might not find in bigger stores, which adds a nice touch to any shopping experience.

2985 Glendale Milford Rd, Cincinnati“Ordered the wrong part for a faucet, texted them about and pictures of what I needed, they let me do a refund and they didn’t have the exact part but sent me a link to Kohler who did have it. They’re so helpful, I’ll totally order from them again. I’ll probably text first next time so I get the right thing in the first place :)”
“Another great result with service from A&A Mower. Each time I've brought something here for service I have been extremely satisfied with the results. I highly recommend them.”
“Best local hardware store for miles. Need to fix something and don't know exactly what you need? Ask any of these employees, they'll know. This store has saved me more times than I can count.”

3142 Madison Rd, Cincinnati“Needed multiple screens done for an section8 inspection I had them use an existing screen to make them but it had a bend in it that made the measure come out wrong. I took them back and Alex helped me get them done asap. They were recommend by a friend and I see why”
“Easily the best local hardware store you could want. Might not have everything a big chain does, but I've yet to go in and find out they didn't have what I needed. The workers are extremely helpful as well”
“I went in to buy a lockbox. I was very surprised to see how large of a selection they had. I was expecting 1-2 items but there were at least 5 in the general size I was looking for.
While looking I was very surprised to see solar panels and other higher end items on the shelves. (Of course in the past I only went looking for cheap tools so maybe that's on me.”
“My go to for cheap, reliable tools. Staff is always friendly and helpful and store is well organized and well stocked. I love the Bauer line of tools that all use the same 20v battery packs.”

“Excellent selection of products with superb customer service. Staff are enthusiasts and knowledgeable about products. I went for knife sharpening Shapton ceramic whetstones and a quality strop. Found everything needed to sharpen my bushcraft knives.”
“Very helpful, knowledge staff. Every associate that I’ve ever interacted with is friendly, and willing to assist with whatever you may need. I was disappointed in the limited stock, and limited sizes, of decorative blank keys available, but hopefully they’ll restock soon. I will continue to shop at this location.”
“Great service and very knowledgeable staff. Help me find and explain products to me. Nice and friendly. Had what I needed and was open earlier on Sunday morning. Was great will be back soon.”
