I spent more than $300 on my graduates package. When I did not receive the cap and gown I called to check the status. The person who 'helped me' said, "we dropped it off last week and we're not bringing another". I would order invitations and thank you cards from CVS and order custom clothing from Amazon. That's what I will do for my daughter in a few years.

Had to drive 45 minutes away to fill out paperwork with assistance which they were very helpful and I finished my payments online easily. However, months go by and everyone receives their ring but my son. When I called they said there was no delivery information! I opt to pay for an overnight delivery since my son graduates in two weeks. Nothing! Upon calling two days later I am told that they are extremely busy and will receive it next week. I say " but I paid money to have it overnighted! She says I'll be sure it gets done today. Ugh! Poor service for the money spent

Despite finding the email saying the ring was done and ready for pick up four months after the fact (no fault of theirs, I had a lot of spam emails from colleges that it got lost in), I reached out and they still had the ring available for pick up or delivery! The person I spoke with over email was very kind and patient as well as very quick to respond (sometimes responding just minutes after I emailed them). Even when I realized I wouldn’t be able to get to the building on time to pick it up before closing, they offered to stand outside with the ring since I didn’t live too far away. All the employees that I interacted with were very kind and understanding, and now I have a beautiful and well made ring with a graduation cap shaped ring box to accompany it :)!** Reminder, this all happened in one day and was four months after the ring was originally supposed to be picked up!

This company is unprofessional and unhelpful. I ordered the Oak Hills package and paid for it. I sealed the envelope and gave it to my son the day before they came to the high school. His measurements were taken. According to the office manager, they had his measurements but did not receive his order form. I explained he turned it on at lunch when his measurements were taken. First she said “I know my process, and we don’t take measurements. Then she blamed my son for not turning it in. However, I had my son, who doesn’t have a locker, take every item out of his book bag to verify, which he did. He was adamant he turned it in. I asked why it took them four months to send anything about not having an order and was told that they deal with 140 schools. That isn’t my problem. Their idea that only my son could possibly be to blame is laughable. Unfortunately you have to order through them if you want your child to graduate. Don’t bother asking to speak to someone other than the office manager, I was told that no one was above her at the moment. Bottom line, because it took so long to get a notice from the school about not having an order, it is too late to get the package that I ordered. So he gets only the cap, gown and tassel. Way to ruin a special day for the graduate and their family!

I have been a Senior Class Adviser at my HS, using this company for 20+ years. It is easy for a Reviewer to complain and give a negative review when they are unaware of the monumental task this company has of communicating with 100's of schools, 1000's of senior students and even more parents. In my experience, very few mistakes are made at the company, and when they are, the mistakes are quickly remedied in one form or another. If there is a problem that caused these negative reviews, I suggest it was more likely that communication between adviser, or school with student and parent is the issue. The school verifies the copy in the announcement, mistakes in printing that copy, rests on the school. When parents send envelope orders and payment to school and turn them into the the Graduate Service, Inc staff, students get a receipt as proof of order. Hold on to your receipts. If GSI doesn't have a record of your order and the student didn't come home with a receipt, the fault is somewhere else. To eliminate the school as a middle person, feel free to order online and use your CC. Parents will have the double record of a purchase date, GSI receipt and a CC record. Distribution of orders happen on pre-designated dates that have been communicated by GSI to the school and advisers. The school and the senior adviser are responsible for letting students know when to show up to receive their items. Parents should not get frustrated at Graduate Services, Inc or the school, if students don't read their emails or follow directions. To put it simply, it's a complicated process. My Sales Representative, Jamie Pruitt, has been nothing short of fantastic to work with these past 20+ years and I can say the same for the staff that answers the telephone when I have an issue or question. No one there is a horrible person, and from the horrible experiences I previously read, my assessment is someone else, school or adviser or student, likely dropped the ball. Keep up the great work.

Only get two stars cause it's a one stop shop. Don't go by salesperson payment explanation. After making initial payment was told I would receive an invoice for the rest in April or May. So as usual I planned to wait for invoice and make payment. Ring was done nearly 5 months ago, no invoice, just email to my wife on how to make payment. Was told today(5/1)on 4/11 remaining stuff was delivered to school, was also told Monday(4/30) they didn't mail invoice till 4/28, and now stuff has been returned to office so we have to go pick it up or pay $10 for shipping. I still have not received an invoice with today's mail already ran. Afterwards the person I talked to said I could have went in and paid earlier, told her she doesn't know the concept of time-value of money.I have/had the money but why shell out remaining $360+ for something I won't have for possibly 6-7 months. How about they change their plan and after we have everything give us 6-9 months to mail in remaining balance. I have 3 more kids going through, and more than likely grandkids later, and I will be shopping around first instead of using this place cause they are conveniently set up inside the school.

It's been four years since my daughter graduated and these folks were very helpful when we ran into some issues with our announcements. I still remember how helpful they were and I am looking forward to working with them again this Spring with my son's necessary graduation needs. Wish there was a website that allowed us parents easier use.

This was a horrible experience! Paid $330 for a package that has the wrong time for graduation the announcements! When I called, I was advised that they found out AFTER the packages were distributed to the students! I was then advised that the correction would not be made and sent out for at least another 3.5 weeks which put us up to about 1 month before graduation!! I was only offered an apology and no other reimbursement! Fast forward 3 days before graduation and my Son's Gown is too short! he has a gown for someone 4'11''! My Son is 5'8"!! The Representative that was at the school even assisted in measuring him! Baccalaureate is TOMORROW and we just received the caps and gowns TODAY! WHAT A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

Third year in a row to have a graduate from Anderson. First year I have had any issues. They did not deliver my son's gown with the other students. Promised to remedy. Three weeks later, Monday before graduation I have to call . The woman who answers the phone, Mary Lou is extremely rude. I could not make her understand that promising the mail would get it to me Thursday was not acceptable, They are less than 5 minutes from the school. She made several sarcastic comments. Finally after myself and my husband call they deliver my sons gown along with several others to the school. Not mad about original mistake. Extremely upset about lack of follow up. Very poor customer service.
