Although everyone connected with my mothers funeral was professional and extremely helpful, Those two were outstanding in helping my family organize our thoughts and help put together our service (We held our own service) We did have a unique and different service in that we did not have any clergy there and we all had a chance to speak of our experiences with Mom. As a family, we could not have been more pleased with how things turned out.I just don't do reviews. I was truly excited to do this one!”

“In the beginning I thought they were cheating us because the prepaid burial plan did not cover several items and it was not all clear. But after reviewing everything in detail I saw they were being honest.As time went on I realized how responsive Dawn was in regard to phone calls and being available to talk about funeral planning details.Later when I saw my father in the coffin I was amazed at how good he looked. Died looking 91 but in the coffin he looked 10 years younger and almost alive. I guess he was coated in hard wax but I guess that’s how it’s done and it looked 100% natural. This was more than 2 weeks after my dear and loved father’s soul left his body so that’s impressive.The limousine drivers were not just drivers but seemed like gentle, patient, and compassionate people who understood what we were going through.No service will be perfect, but I have no complaints about walker funeral home.”

“I could not have been more impressed by the service provided by this funeral home. We worked with Leslie and she went above and beyond. Answered every one of our calls with an hour or two, never made us feel like we were a burden with all of our questions, picked up the urn from the cemetery for us, order jewelry for me, and everything. They were not pushy at all about payment, and anyone who wanted to be involved could be.The funeral home is also beautiful. There was a space downstairs were could go get snacks and grieve privately when we needed to during the service. They made plenty of room for the collages and even completely customized the prayer card to include something different when nothing pre-made really suited my dad. When we needed more chairs for the service, they went and got more immediately before anything began to make sure everyone in attendance was comfortable.Going through this loss has been the hardest thing in my life, but Vitt, Stermer, and Anderson helped seamlessly put together a layout and service that is exactly what my family wanted. When going through this process, some people will try to take advantage of you, or treat you will coldness or distance. Everyone at this funeral home was the perfect amount of professionalism, kind, and helpful and we could not be more grateful.Thank you for helping our family in anyway you could heal through our loss.
