The employees and volunteers are happy, genuine, and helpful. While there was one mention of a rude volunteer, the situation was respectfully resolved. The experience is so positive that it inspires some to return as volunteers, who find the fast-paced environment rewarding. For anyone needing assistance or looking to volunteer, this is a highly recommended place to connect with vital resources and support.
The Freestore Food Bank can always use a few volunteers. If you don't mind packing vegetables in a cardboard box for the elderly and disabled, and homebound people. I will start volunteering next week, and I can't wait. This will not be my first time volunteering for the Free Store Food Bank, and I always returns.
